In Search of Lost Time by Marcel Proust. I mostly read comics, especially manga (three new books every day) but if I read this wonderful book I not only enjoy myself but also get an excuse to tell people "Comics? A waste of time? Darling, I read Proust; I do believe I am more qualified to determine what reading material is a waste of time and what isn't."

The Mess They Made by Gwynn Dyer. It takes a look at precisely how badly this invasion of Iraq has destroyed the socioeconomic and political spheres of the Middle East.

Currently reading Within a Budding Grove, the second volume of In Search of Lost Time, also know as the one that nobody gets to because they bored with volume 1.

EDIT: Corrected title

Just about to start A Wild Sheep Chase by Harukai Marukami, and just finished Norwegian Wood by the same author.

To be honest, Norwegian Wood is often considered his best work, but it's my least favourite by far. I love Harukai Murakami but Norwegian Wood is incredibly underwhelming.
Agreed. Well, I wouldn't call it "incredibly underwhelming", but it's definitely his least great work - a 8/10 at the most, while all the others I've read are at least 9/10.

The Art of Racing in the Rain

Uh...can't remember who it's by. But it's really good. I'd been wanting to read it for a while (being the dog lover that I am) but I never got around to it.

A history of warfare by John Keegan.

I'm about a quarter of the way through it but I've lost it for the moment. Once I find it, I will resume.

Personally, I'm trying to get into Stephen King at the moment. So far I've been browsing my way through "Everything's Eventual"

At the moment: Summer Knight the 4th book of The Dresden Files series, not too shabby either. Like crack sprinkled over a snickers bar.

Right now I am reading Blood Brothers by Colonel Eugene C. Jacobs. Its really good so far. Its about a Medic's time spent in a Japanese camp in the Philippines. And afterwards I was thinking about reading Paradise Lost by John Milton. I've always wanted to read it and now I have the chance.

Right now Im re-reading Woken Furies by Richard Morgan, nearly done with it though, so I'm gonna need to start thinking about what I'm going to follow it up with. As a general rule, Im always reading something bookwise and tend to use train of thought when picking what to read.
