My heart leaps with joy to know that all of you Night Angel fans are out there! This turned into quite the Night Angel Discussion topic for awhile there...
We need more fans though! We need more people to read this amazing trilogy. I've read it a good 6 times. I can't wait to read #2 of the lightbringer series. Do we have any word on a release date?
Not yet, I know Weeks got side tracked with Perfect Shadow. But I'm looking forward to more Weeks in general!

I would want the Amtrak Wars by Patrick Tilley but apparently its already being done by an Australion company set up for the very purpose of adapting that series, so I'm happy.

Awesome books if you haven't tried them, I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

ANY of the Magic: The Gathering books...tho i would love them to start with Urza.
or
Dragon Riders of Pern
and just about a whole bunch of other stuff.
I would watch the DE Trilogy. Most of the first two books would be in "darkvision", but that could be pretty cool if done well.

I would love to see Dragon Riders of Pern movies. I loved those books when I read them as a kid.

There are simply not enough movies about dragons out there. Today's CG is definitely good enough to handle everything.

Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell by Susanna Clarke. I had been recommended it by a friend one day, and when I finally got around to starting it I hardly put it down until I had finished it. Hell, when I think back about the book, I recall it as though it were a movie, it was that detailed. So yeah, that.

I need to read Perfect Shadow, but I agree. More Weeks in geenral is what is needed. I STILL go back back over the Night Angel books, just because Kylar is so awesome and the writing never gets old.

Ender's Game.
It would make such an epic video game, and a movie as well.
I second this but I would also like to see The Old Kingdom Series by Garth Nix turned into Movies.

I waited until I absolutely couldn't remember what order things happened in to reread (it was also the first thing I read on my kindle). I discovered so many new thing the second time around.

The Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer. Or maybe "The Warrior" by Josephine Ottesen (though I doubt this one, it's Danish and highly unknown)

I've said it before and I'll say it again; there needs to be a video game based in the world of Altered Carbon by Richard Morgan. It would probably be something like Deus Ex meets System Shock meets Mass Effect, and it would be awesome. The world of another of Richard Morgan's books, The Steel Remains, would also make a pretty kickass action RPG, and it would probably be the only fantasy game where applying the term "dark fantasy" wouldn't feel like a joke.

This is an obscure one: The Thursday Next Series by Jasper Fforde.

Ok, here' the deal: All those characters in literature? When you're not reading their books, their actual people that can think for themselves, and live their own lives... to a degree. They're also aware that they're in books, and treat their readings as if they were acting out scene from a movie again and again.

Now, take that premise, add in time travel, genetic manipulation, great action sequences, and some of the best British Humor since Monty Python, and you have a great series of books, and a great premise for, if not a movie, at least a TV serial.

Seriously. Read them.

MMO or RPG type game in the universe of the Bartimaeus trilogy. It could have a huge list of Djinn you can summon, varying in strength and easiness to control.
