Mario Party. N64. Works everytime, the overwhelming happiness/nostalgia just cheers me up.
Just not the first game. Otherwise the depression would just increase when you realize you've destroyed the analog stick on your N64 controller.

Go to a forest outside town (preferably where there aren't many people) , pick a tree and punch it till I am chill again. You get the occasional broken bones and scars but it gets the job done ( Yes , I have anger management issues )

I take whatever it is that's making me feel so down, bottle it up inside me and throw away the key*

That's healthy right....?

*My bottles come with locks and keys

The thing I often do is reading creepypastas while listening to Ayreon.

Somehow,it always works.
Hey random guy I have never quoted before whatsoever, how can creepypastas and that one trippie metal guy make you feel less depressed.

Also, for me to get less depressed, I read and stuff.

YOU LIER!

I just seem to deal with it. Whenever I get depressed (which is rare to begin with) it comes from my own dissatisfaction with other people. As a result I stay alone and just brood until I snap out of it.
That being said, I do play games and browse the web while I am alone, so that probably factors in.

i've never been depressed... i'm 21 now and nothing

that's not to say i didn't get the occasional glimmer of sadness as a child, but i haven't felt sad, let alone depressed, in about 10 years.

i haven't cried since i was 12, and i haven't full on bawled my eyes out since i was 8

When I feel down I listen to music, anything by Per Gessle (Roxette especially) cheer me up.
I don't know what it is, he just have such a calming and lovely voice.

-Troll on Runescape because it cheers me up to mess with 13-year-old minds.
-Listen to music. Preferably Korpiklaani (happy band) and Legion of the Damned (angry band), and it balances out how happy and how angry I am.
-Play video games.
-Read/write
-Talk to my girlfriend
-Exercise
-Think violent thoughts about people

To be honest, I do that even when I'm not depressed, now that I think about it...

When I´m sad, I stop being sad, and start being awesome instead.
true story.....

In a strange way thats probably the best advice. You can sit in your room listening to the Smiths or the Cure brooding about how the world keeps picking on you or you can do something productive or something that makes you happy and hopefully take your mind off it.

First thing I do when I feel down is listen to "fix you" by cold play.

Then I proceed to sleep/listen to music. I get over it by the next day.

Yeah I don't usually feel down often, and it's usually over small things.

Aerobic exercise. At least an hour. It's a big push to get yourself going but it's so worth it. The endorphin rush after a run or cycle or swim SERIOUSLY helps.

Lucky man/girl can't be bothered checking profile.
I know I hate crying :( Haven't done so anywhere but home for years - hope it stays that way.

Generally eat (Somehow still dangerously skinny) play games and avoid everyone. I am not a people person. To be fair though I do that anyway. If I am having family trouble I put on Pokemon or something else I enjoyed from my childhood when things were better.
