What do you do with insects?

It depends a lot on what kind of bug it is however usually I'll put it outside. If its something like a fly, mosquito, gnat, etc, I won't. Flying things generally get killed, non-flying put outside. Spiders I will sometimes leave alone entirely since they eat other bugs that annoy me further.
However, I can count on one hand how many bugs I've seen in my apartment in the past year.

I hate killing insects, so I try to convey them outside whenever I can. That said, I've hung flypaper in the kitchen because the problem was getting out of hand due to certain lazy family members leaving the door open.

If there's a moth in my room, I'll try to identify it before Gandalfing it out the window. I love moths. Well, not technically moths.

I let spiders live in the corners of rooms, they starve after a while because I kill flies and the like (I'm very much allergic to fly bites, it's them or me)
If I see something like a moth or butterfly or larger crawling insect like a cockroach I'll just wrapn them in tissue and put them outside/scare them away.

I kill them and mount them on my wall as a trophy. If I happen to squash one onto a wall then I have just saved time.

50/50 between spraying them and splattering them.
That said, splattering is quicker, and far more sadistically satisfying.

Depend on what type of insects it is-

If it's a fly or moth then I either kill it or open my window to let it out (depend how often the fly stay still).

If it's a bumble bee or wasp than I will be merciful letting it out well wasp are scary while there aren't that many bee's left.

If it's a spider than I either run like hell if it's big) or pray that it will dissapear soon (if it's in my room).

I hate bugs, more than I'd like to admit. But I have a trick;

Treat them like they are human burglars that tries to pillage all your possessions and rape you in the process. When the visualization is complete, proceed to yell at them for breaking in and smack them silly with a FlySmacker?.

If it's a spider a lure it outside. I like spiders. Same goes for just about anything exept thing that bite without being ***** slapped. Not to many big bugs here though.

Unless It gets on my skin in which case i crush it.

Catch it in a box and release it outside, usually. Unless there are a lot of them or they're especially annoying (smashy time).

If it's something flying that's bigger than a fly, then I flee from it, and try to find something to smash it with.

Last year I killed 3 butterflies with lego cars. It was like 02:00 AM, but I wouldn't sleep before every single one of them were dead or gone. Preferably dead.

Typically, I try and ignore it. <<

If it's a particularly persistent insect, I will try and encourage it to go outside without harming (or indeed touching) it.

Panicking is almost always involved. Insects make me feel all squeamish.

In my room every insect is allowed to live. Not stay in here, but I throw them out instead of smashing them. My walls were painted not too long ago so I'd rather keep them clean.
Otherwise to hell with moths!

With spiders I use the classic glass & coaster method then throw them outside. Anything else gets smashed with whatever is close to hand, sometimes bare hands. And I once shot a wasp in half with a BB pistol. That was a good shot.

Really, only two things have annoyed me in the last few years; spiders, against which I calmly get up, get a glass and some paper, throw them out the window, then spend the next few hours with my feet on my chair; and moths, by which I mean mahoosive, canhear-them-smashing-into-walls-from-across-the-room huge moths, that I generally hide from, freak out when they fly near me, and hope the fly into my lamp and die (Rather than loudly struggle, jump out, lie on the floor for a few seconds, then resume as normal).

Fuck moths.

I'm very...for lack of a better term, kindhearted to bugs (I often save them from my pool, friends, other people who might smash them), so I gently pick them up with a napkin and take them outside.

...except spiders. Those little freaks can taste the back of my squashing book (which is actually my sister's copy of Twilight - she hates it when I do this).
This, but the top applies to spiders too.
If I know the spider is poisonous though, I will kill it. Same with ants and mosquitoes, I hate ants. But all other insects, like cockroaches, beetles whatever I save or let them be. Same with jumping spiders and orb-web spiders and ones I know won't severely damage me.

I don't kill bugs or things like that. I don't think it's very nice.

If there was a big spider on me I... wouldn't react well. But I wouldn't kill it - aside from being awful that would be messy too. My common reaction is just to shake vigourously and recklessly until I shake the beast in question loose. If it's just in the room I'll usually leave it alone.

Depends. If its a cockroach or a mosquito than I kill them. If its a spider or a bee than I let them go.
Fuck ants. If I see one of them in my house than I either smash the hell out of it or run away screaming.

Depends, if it's on the other side of the room i'll leave it be.
If it's crawling about on the window I'll just open the window and let it out.

If it's loud or being very near me then I'll kill it.
