The price.

I'm poor, but even if I wasn't I wouldn't spend $60+ on a game.

I always wait until they drop.

There's a lot of sequals. I mean that's not bad it feels like everybody doesn't want to make new things and would rather mine a property till everybody gets sick of it.

I really have no complaints besides that they're too easy.
This. I like to feel like I actually conquered an impossible situation in my games. Difficulty is why Record of Agarest War and Demon's Souls are so awesome.

Biggest complaint- games that require you to pay extra to unlock content already on the disk. If we already paid $60 for a game, we don't want to pay extra because developers want extra money.

My second complaint is that some DLC is overpriced. Some people will instantly think of the Stimulus Package DLC for Modern Warfare 2, and I agree slightly. The DLC costs $15 for five maps, that's $3 per map. All of Halo 3's DLC was originally $10 for three mapswhen they first came out, which is $3.33 per map. I believe that Halo 3's DLC was worth it mainly because they had more replay value- matchmaking, custom games, forge, and theatre; Modern Warfare 2's map's strength is it's online matchmaking.

None of them seem unique in any way. They've all seem to have lost their creativity, at least in terms of character design. For sci-fi games it seems like there are waaaaayy too many space marines. Maybe it's just my hate towards zombie related anything but there needs to be a restriction to zombie games. They're all the same dang thing, and I don't understand why my friends get so upset about the fact that I don't like zombies as much as they do, it's the most predictable topic you could imagine thinking about. Even in the realm of JRPGs, they've just lost all their uniqueness and try to be as picturesque as possible with impracticable costumes (granted I like JRPGs, but they've really lost their touch nowadays)

I hate the high end graphics gold rush. There are so many games you can play on merit alone that have old timey graphics. AvP 2 back in the day was AWESOME, both single and multi. If they would tone down the "new graphics card needed" cycle then we could all buy more games without the need of upgrades. How a game looks is way down the list after so many other things.

In this hand I have a new idea that might make no money at all or be worth up to triple what it cost to make, in my other hand I hand I have an old idea that will make at least what it cost plus fifty percent, Which are you going to take?

Console - Not too challenging anymore. Sometimes it works to my favor, but i thought DMC4 was supposed to cramp my fingers every 10 mins or so...

PC games - Too large, takes years to download, harder to crack.
I kid. The only complaint of mine with PC games, especially console ports, are the system requirements. They have low requirements on paper, but when you finally do play, it bumfucks your processor and GPU, hence the slow framerate. I don't really have a gaming PC. I just have a work laptop that can play modest games...

I've foudn that i'm playing games with at least 3 years on them.

Help?

On topic: The attitude, I want a nice, good game were we can loose with dignity and say "GG" at the end, not some spamfest of insults and names like "lEEt CoMplEX"

Also, Single Player's need to be improved.
I completely agree, how many more x's do you want in a name like Xx420Xxs1PeRbRoXx1337xX and they are always 14 year old's who watch ufc and wear fucking abercrombie and fitch

Hm lets see.

To much focus on graphics
way to easy and watered down thanks to the casual market being bigger (Looking at you devs making Gothic 4)
Focus all on Multiplayer
DLC
6 hour long games slowly becoming the norm
DRM bullshit

Everyone's already said all the stuff I wanted to say on this forum!
So I'll just list the things I hate most about new games, #1 being the most terrible.

1. Replay Value. Seriously, where the fuck did that go? I used to enjoy playing games on my N64 and Super Nintendo over and over again.
2. Games that are all CG Movies and contain very average gameplay/ repetitive gameplay. (I blame you - MGS4!!)
3. Forced multiplayer/ Co-op, which completely ruined Resident Evil 5.
4. Games that are too easy and hold your hand. The biggest challenges in most games today are finding every little item in the world, like the hidden packages in the GTA series, and it's not really hard, it's just boring.

I hate the fact that I've already played them all already.

Seriously, can we get something new?

I'm disliking all of the generic FPS games being pushed out of the "FPS Machine".
