Being taken care of completely, with no worries or responsibilities, and playing video games all day without someone on my back.

It's one of the cornerstones of my depression that these things have changed.

Probably not having responsibilities. The ease of life in general, with the downside of reliancy.

Playing with LEGOs without getting weird looks.
It's regarded as kinda childish to play with LEGOs apparently.
YOU NEVER GET TOO OLD FOR LEGOS!
It's not childish as long as you come up with something totally badass. For instance, the guy that designs working, modern weapons out of them. He's not childish at all.

I miss the days when I didn't care about graphics or gameplay and only cared if a game made me laugh or if i had fun.

Oh wait, I'm still like that :D

I made a big ass speedboat and a yacht and tested them in my bathtub, they floated. Am I badass now?

I miss being able to sleep so soundly, my innocence, my blind faith in the world and the people in it.

Lack of responsibility or pressure. When I was 8 years old, I could spend my summer holidays doing whatever I wanted, not doing any coursework or worrying about A-level results. It was a beter time.

I miss grade 7, everything before or after paled in comparison. Played handball and football most recesses.

Come to think of it I miss recess... not enough for me not to love high school layout, but it was a nice thing.

Who wants to play Handball!

My social competence because now I'm sort of awkward around people I don't know...

I miss my childhood because when you're a kid, the only thing you want to do is have fun. No one's caught up in their lives, you can get along with everyone. I spent hours everyday just having imaginary adventures with my neighbors. Now we're all older and everyone's so different. My old best friend is a complete airhead, one of my old friends is a complete jock, and my best friend is a bit of an asshole. *Sigh* things are so much simpler as a kid.

I miss living in England. Although Northern Ireland does have a far superior education system.

The heyday of Cartoon Network, Back when they showed old WB cartoons and Dexters Laboratory. I stopped watching when they stopped showing GOOD shows.

well all the nostalgia is just wonderful. But the carefree nature of being a kid is gone forever and if given the opportunity to do it again, hell yeah I would. All we have left are memories and that's a damn shame.

Nothing. Computer games sucked as all there was was the Atari 2600 then the ZX Spectrum. Most movies sucked too until Star Wars opened the door for a new wave of movie making. The music wasn't too bad but wasn't all that great either and worst of all, the fashion sucked donkeys balls.
At least we could go out and play without fear of being snatched, molested or stabbed like in todays society which on hindsight was a great part of my childhood in that era.
