What do you think God is?

In my opinion (as it really is the only opinion that I can express) God is whatever you percieve it/him to be - there is no one wrong answer. God is meant to be almighty, and should be able to take the form of whatever/whoever they please. That is, of course, if I believed in God.

First off I want to say this is not a post for any particular religion to argue about what idea of God is better.

There are a lot of different ideas of what God could be or look like (Flying spaghetti monster, Giant universe laying chicken). I'd like to hear what creative idea's you all can come up with.

Are you aware that there is a major flaw in this thread? Before we can discuss the nature of "god", we must take a step back and first consider whether or nto god is real. Then, if we establish it's existenace, we can talk about it more.

That would be true if we weren't assuming God's existence in order to answer the question or said person would simply not answer or go with the more clever answer of "he doesn't exist so I can't answer it." See, this is why we can't have nice threads!
