Then I actually thought about it. The sun is the reason we are all here, the reason we continue to live, and the reason that one day nothing will ever live again. It provides us with our life-sources, and so much more.

This idea first came to me from a video comparing every divine being to each other, and everything they had in common could be metaphorically expressed by the sun.

First off I want to say this is not a post for any particular religion to argue about what idea of God is better.

There are a lot of different ideas of what God could be or look like (Flying spaghetti monster, Giant universe laying chicken). I'd like to hear what creative idea's you all can come up with.

Are you aware that there is a major flaw in this thread? Before we can discuss the nature of "god", we must take a step back and first consider whether or nto god is real. Then, if we establish it's existenace, we can talk about it more.

That would be true if we weren't assuming God's existence in order to answer the question or said person would simply not answer or go with the more clever answer of "he doesn't exist so I can't answer it." See, this is why we can't have nice threads!

Well we can't answer the question because god isn't real. If you wan to use a theoretical answer, i would say that god is-----a jerk.
and of course we can't have nice threads. Wouldn't ber any fun if we all just agreed with each other now would it?
