what do YOU want from the next Grand Theft Auto game?

A sense of humour. GTA London, GTA3, Vice City, even the bits of San Andreas that I got to try out. I could laugh and chuckle at all the jokes, references, innuendos (not all innuendos are sexual), and gags made me want to keep playing on top of the game play. GTA 4 had none of that for me outside of a beating heart.

I think they should move the stting to Norway! You could ride cows, treck through the endless forests anddo 200 missions only to find you have just enough money for a Snickers...probably not even.

Seriously though, they should make it less realistic. Why go through all the trouble of programming in a fully realized virtual internett and tv, when that time should have been spent on making the driving physics not suck. Or the controls not suck. Or the character movement not suck.

I want a sense of fun and mischief, it was fatally lacking in the last game.

And red dead's aiming system (not dead eye, just generally)

Yes, yes and yessity yes.

I want the olf feel of GTA back, when it was brash and violent. Where you could cleave a gang boss in two with a chainsaw and then go clubbing in a seaplane.

And I want so many things from Red Dead to carry over. The aiming system, the animals, the brutality (headshots ftw), the generally awesome selection of guns and the much improoved multiplayer and levelling system, not to mention the DLC.

Failing that, I'd love to see a GTA set in the near future, in a kind of 'I, Robot' world. They've already done the past, as Yahtzee graciously described RDR as Grand Theft Horse 4.

the fun and redidiculosity from GTA:SA and VC back, and to STOP falling over from 0.0000000001 point of any dmg >=( less "realistic" driving (realistic as a hamster on ice, they mean >_>) oh and as a major point

I'd like the option to take your 'friends' to an abandoned warehouse, douse them in kerosene and light them on fire. All while doing a nifty dance to Steeler's Wheel's "Stuck in the Middle With You".


The whole "friends" mechanic was just annoying.

The main character should be a young psycho goth guy with an insane laugh. and he has a girlfriend who is a gothic lolita with a machinegun for some co-op fun. the artstyle should be cellshaded and a bit cartoony. the setting should be basicly Neo-tokyo from the movie AKIRA. the gameplay should revolve around exploration platforming and shooting while running really fast and blowing shit up.

i just want a different location, i mean if you go back and look, even in the original grand theft auto the names of the maps were "liberty city". "vice city" and "san andreas"

give me London, Tokyo, heck i'll settle for Mobile Alabama.

some different in game rewards would be nice.
