An apology note, a block of chocolate and the money I spent on the game worth of steam wallet cash, plus an extra 50.

zombies, its not a stupid suggestion at all, everyone enjoys it, and just because its only been in treyarch games so far doesnt mean it shouldnt be in an infinity ward game

The SIG-Sauer P228 pistol. Because it's what they use in NCIS.
I like pretending I'm an NCIS agent.

When you suck at a game, you have to find your own way of making it interesting.

A decent campaign: one with more than 6 hours of gameplay, and where it hasn't been tacked on as training for MP; hire a decent writer to make sure the campaign is what people remember about the game.

Spec-Ops: If your going to stick a extra missions thing into the game, make it the same style as spec-ops as it is way more enjoyable than zombies.

weapon attachments: bring back the attachment unlock challenges from MW2, with black ops when you get a gun you usually have enough money to immediately buy your favourite attachment and will not try any of the others. By bringing back unlock challenges for every attachment the games could become much more varied.

Perks: instead of the three categories for perks just have a list of perks and three slots choose. also make the challenges to unlock the pro version have something to do with that perk.

Knife: 2 hit kill or Reach style assassinations.

customisation: add more options to the gun/character customisation.

remove claymores as they are essentially insta-kill noob devices and make playing in close quaters impossible as every corner is mined.

I don't like credit based upgrades - I enjoy "training" a weapon to unlock its full potential. Why yes, I do enjoy the occasional JRPG, how could you tell?
But buying them from the off just feels like I have very little advancement
But this is in, not out, so on topic:
A multi-view story that actually comes together, a la MW (Black ops did this, but for some reason I didn't enjoy it as much), spec ops a la MW2, NPCs I actually care about (Bowman, Dunn, Foley and Woods can all jump off a cliff. Actually Woods wasn't that bad, but at some point in Bay o' Pigs, he fires off hand at a door, and it opens to have two guys drop through, dead. For this, he deserves to die)

Keeping the CoD points is probably a good idea, but I'd like to see the cosmetic things (camos, face paints, symbols etc) stay as rewards for challenges.
I didn't like how Black Ops took that away, it was one of the cool things about MW2

Perks:
Black Ops style except where noted.
Bring back double tap.
Remove second chance.
Scavenger pro now only gives 2 extra magazines max.
Limit to how many ghost (stealth perk) users can be on a team at once.
T1 perk, M136 AT4 (or something similar)
Character model is no longer defined by primary weapon or T1 perk, but now by appearance customization.
(needs to be some way to keep number of ghillie suit users down though.)

Killstreaks:
Modern Warfare 2 style except where noted.
Mortar team added.
SAM turret added.
Emergency airdrop removed (?)

New killstreak rewards:
Strafing run - An A-10 ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A-10_Thunderbolt_II ) pounds the crap out of an area of your choosing.
Stealth fighters - A squadron of 'Stealth Fighters' come in unannounced, blow the hell out of designated areas then leave
(only if MW3 is set a few more years in the future at least.)

Weapons:
Include some WW2, Vietnam era and modern day weapons for awesome diversity.
Overall have a lot of guns and attachments to choose from.
New weapons:
- HK416
- AN-94 Abakan
- VSS Vintorez
- MP7
- AK-74
- XM-177E2
- XM8
- Sterling
Remove M18 claymores.
Underslung launchers get one round, count 'em.
Pistols as secondaries, launchers are perks replacing secondaries.
Semtex nerfed drastically.
Only one secondary grenade (flashbangs etc.)
Silencers much quieter, but directly lower weapon damage rather than just damage dropoff over range.
(bullets doing less damage over a distance)
Melee lunge removed.
Knifing removed, replaced by bashing someone with your gun CoD1/2 style. Still an instant kill.
Assault rifles nerfed a tad.
Sniping easier, quickscoping still difficult.
Weapons now hugely customizable (add camo, new attachments, custom reticules for all optics, markings etc.)

Miscellaneous:
Night vision goggles available in multiplayer.
Damage dropoff over range or whatever its called is less prevalent.

I would honestly love to see a few more set pieces involving animals, strangely.

I know that animals are HARDLY the focus of the series, but they do set pieces so well that a shark attack, for example, could be absolutely harrowing.

2. Decrease recoil on the F2000.
The F2000 pisses rounds, it'll always kick like an absolute *****.

A longer campaign would be lovely, I enjoyed MW2's campaign somewhat, I just wish there was more of it.

To not base it on WW1/2, modern, to not let Infinity Ward make it and for it to NOT be made. Personally there's too many CoD games now and not enough story for it. Except the fact they leave out another major Allies in every single one: Australians. useless pompus pricks they are at IW....

I want a campaign that isn't from the perspective of an American or a British soldier. Give us a less commonly portrayed army to work with; perhaps one that has limited resources and different enemies than the US's Taliban/Russians.

Design by Infinity Ward, and pretty much everything that entails.
Ain't happening, as I'm sure you're well aware.

That's why I doubt there'll even be a MW3.

Well, unless you hold the new Infinity Ward in high regard.

a campaign that has way less flashing lights. oh yeah, and for it to not suck. that should go without saying, but i think treyarch forgot to take their pills during production. i could really go for another cod game based on a war that actually happened. black ops was set in the vietnam era, but featured way too little vietnam levels to be considered a vietnam war game. i would love a game set in korean war, a second try at the vietnam war, or maybe even ww1. ww1 was full of campers though...so never mind.

In Modern warfare 3, I would really like an offical apology from the manifacturer due to the poor quallity of previous games as well as my money back, perhaps a trip to hawaii as compensation for actually being forced to play trough the previous games.

Over arching Spec-ops/Zombie missions,

Points to buy weapons and cosmetic changes for said weapon (Eg; Paint jobs) and challenges to unlock gameplay changes (Ee; Red dot sights) for weapons.

NO BLOODY CLIFFHANGER!
