What does your mental landscape look like?

A hurricane of nothing.
Please say I'm not the only one with so many cluttered thoughts that it feels like I'm thinking of a whole lot of nothing?

Essentially this:

A japanese feudal era styled city that goes on forever, with cherry blossoms and rivers. Katana's and other weapons of this era can be found almost anywhere in the town. But, it is a peaceful place regardless.

Big movie screen showing what I see, only there's a bunch of sarcastic jerks mocking it as it goes along.
pretty much this, although when I'm daydreaming the sky turns like royal purple and the grass robins egg blue... etc etc

It used to be a large two-story Shopping Mall, but as I got older it changed an grew. Now it has become an entire universe where characters I've created go about their everyday lives. I find myself traveling through the universe (including backwards and forwards through time) getting advice from them. Hopefully, one day I'll get the chance to write them all down in book form.

It is a massive landscape filled with castles and flower-beds and lakes and small wooden cottages ... also labradors and sheep-dogs. Also, distance is highly deceptive there. Also, all living things get some form of super power and a fair amount of the non-living stuff is enchanted in some way.

EDIT: It also has a tendency to change to plain sheets of colour, except instead of variations in the colour, there is a different 'feel' to parts of it, kind of like experienceing thought without words or pictures, just in a purely experiential way. It then proceeds to revert back to the castle-cottage-lake-dog place, except altered to match the overall feeling of the previous thought.

Well.. Fuck. I can't find any images that would reflect any of this, so remind me to either draw or paint this shit someday.

Whenever I am calm and tranquil, my mind is a slowly consuming vortex of neon energy, with islands of black obsidian floating in a lazy orbit. Shards of the dark rocks fall off, and then drift into the efferescent void. Every now and then, a stone spire will light up with the sigils of creation, and emit a bright blue pulse that shakes the island chains.

As my mood lifts into a happy state, the islands settle around the vortex in a long and rolling plain. Great tall grass sprouts from beneath the battered rocks, and the energetic anomaly reduces to a pulsing storm. The plains begin to dampen with multicolored rain, as brightly lit seeds fall from the sky like meteors. Ephemeral stallions of smoky blues and teals roam across this land, bringing joy and creation.

Should I ever get angry, the entire chain of islands explode one by one into a flaky dust, as they reveal hideous structures of bone and flesh that weep and ooze pus out of every crack and crevice. Plants of barbed wire and fangs pierce the tissue of the landscape, and the sky darkens into a fiery orange. The land itself begins to spew putrid creatures that curse their birthing, and fight eachother as they try to end their own lives as quickly as they began. The plants consume and writhe, cutting and searing whatever they touch, and the air itself thickens into a searing pressure of hate.

If I get sad, everything wipes into a grayish haze, as lights, and even sound is devoured by the agonizing mist. The ground beneath is covered with freezing patterns of either ash, snow, or rain. Dark forests of wild shadows sprout, and tower into the tops of the haze, as beasts with golden eyes, made of nothing luber about just out of sight. Everything within sight becomes a murky shade in the distance, and the closer you get, the less real it becomes. Everything becomes etched and inked, as if a pen scratched out your vision.

Those are my mental landscapes... I guess.

My mind is a land of complete and utter Chaos, but so far nothing has been destroyed. There's one safe house hidden somewhere. In it are the 10 memories I'm not gonna lose to Chaos.

A massive glass bubble half-filled with dirt, a large forest grows out of the dirt and a ladder leads up to the top of bubble where there is a telescope and a extensive library. This is all floating through space, hence the telescope.

This is my current back yard (so to speak. It's about 5 miles away). It'll probably be there.

This is where I grew up. It'll have a place in my mind.

Soundscape would be similar to this:

While not my specific heritage, it is part of what I grew up on and will always have a place in my heart.

Part wasteland with burnt-out early childhood memories (representing the things I don't remember), part MC Escher picture (my confusion at a lot of things), part Bond villain evil lair (my dark thoughts).

Were I to even begin to describe it, your mind would shatter and attempt to devour itself upon trying to picture it.

Insert a few starships, some floating Pokemon, a giant Trumpet, Kaiba and some dancing Team Rocket grunts and you have got my mental landscape.

An endless spire in an empty place. Above is a vortex. Violent, wild, dynamic and forever in flux. Below is the abyss. Dark, haunting, frightening.

As you stand on the spire, you feel the fear of falling. Which is, in truth, a wish to jump.
