What era/time period would you want to live in?

So, as the topic title suggests...what era/time period would you like to live in?

I'd say for me, the Wild West. Sure, its been glamourized by hollywood, but damn if it was anything like that...I'd have a lot of fun, that is, before I showed up dead from some quick draw.

EDIT: in terms of time period though: in Australia during the late 1700s/early 1800s. To explore my home as it was when it was bushland would be awesome.

I would say the Medieval period, or possibly the Romantic period, but then I'd remember that they didn't have glasses back then and I'd essentially be blind, which would seriously limit any fun I would have otherwise had.
