The twenties because ever since I read The Great Gatsby, I have always wanted to go and visit and talk to the people there and as for The Depression, hopping on trains and riding around the country with no job and only worrying about yourself sounds pretty awesome to me.

EDIT - That, or the Stone Age. For some reason, that appeals to me, despite the sickness, predators, and general lack of life-span there's something oddly appealing for me in being that far back to animal-instinct. Definately this, better health care, cleaner living, get to explore space and meet aliens. More then that, never mind playing games, with the Holodeck, you could LIVE the game! =D

Yeah, but i would stay away from any Silent Hill or zombie game.
