What era/time period would you want to live in?

There are quite a few things I'd like to experience in the past. We have destroyed so much in the past century. I like the idea of living in an age when things were less restrictive, but since most of the past wasn't smart enough to invent computers, I guess I'll just have to put up with the freedoms I do have.

So I would really like to visit the past, but I don't think I'd want to live there.

Of course, the idea of being a kid now has a certain appeal. They have so many cool toys nowdays!

I would live in the thirties and forties. Probably enlist in the army for the second world war. To be a part of such an important part of history would be incredible. And Australians kicked Jerry and Jap arse in the Second World War.

Be born in 1910, so I can experience the 20s as a teenager, then the 40s, the 50s, then the 60s. And if it wasn't for a little thing called World War 2, I might get away with it.

This is my runner up. Living in the Roaring 20's seems like something that would be alot of fun. Minus the whole great depression afterwards of course...
