Yojimbo. It reaffirmed everything that I loved about cinema when I hadn't been able to enjoy movies for a while. There are other movies that I feel emotional while watching but Yojimbo had a more vivid impact with me.

Oh gee, Empire of the Sun definitely. That one threw me for a doozy.
Iron Giant too. I laughed and cried throughout that movie.

Wim Wenders' Der Himmel über Berlin.

It's a wonderful film about the inherent beauty of being, and the freedom of appreciating that state of being without a spiritual doctrine dictating your existence.

Hamlet starring Ethan Hawke, sometimes known as Hamlet 2000. Hamlet anf Ophelia moved me.

I saw Babel for the first time 2 days ago. And yes, it touched me. I've seen many movies that had me fighting back the tears, most notably Hero and Casshern, my two favo movies. Not necessarily because I was very connected to the characters, but because of the emotional charge of the story.

Probably NOT a good entry for this sort of discussion, but 'Click' starring Adam Sandler is the most recent film I emoted to that I can think of.
Fuck me that film was crushing...also the first half was this shitty concept comedy like What Women Want of something, then WHAM! sucker punch right in the sorrow gland.

<spoiler=saddest part>
Christopher Walken: Your father is dead
Adam Sandler: Take me back to when he died!
Christopher Walken: I can't, You weren't there

The Good the bad and the ugly. Just the music and last half hour brings a tear to my eye just thinking about it. Not emotional in the traditional sense though.

lassie didn't have to die );

i hate it when dogs die, i really get choked up. for instance the dog in i am legend when in the apartement where will smith sees the deer nose and thinks it's his dogs nose.

i really can't stand those moments.
I forgot about that scene. I agree, I feel really awful seeing dogs die in movies. >.>

Memories of Matsuko, I would recommend that film to anyone who wants an emotional and thought provoking experience.

As a British Anti-Establishment type, V for Vendetta, the end makes me want to riot......so bad.

I have cried over too many movies, so it is hard to name one, everal scenes in movies always get me.
two that pop into my head right away was Dead Poet's Society, brilliant movie, I loved the whole thing, the end when everyone stood on the tables...I cried like i never cried before, i dont know why but it was amazing.
number two is jurrasic bark, an episode from futurama, the end makes me bawl my eyes out, every time even though i am prepared for it
