Probably NOT a good entry for this sort of discussion, but 'Click' starring Adam Sandler is the most recent film I emoted to that I can think of.

Besides the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
I wouldn't be so quick about that, "Click" is a great entry because it applies to me too. A movie that I thought was so good and well-written that it made me cry at the end from the completely perfect ending is "O Brother, Where Art Thou?"

Definitely "Elfen Lied".

I know it's not a Movie, but it touch me very deep emotionally. My chest felt heavy even hours after i watched the final 13th episode, and i 'almost' cried several times during the series.
Same here. And to tell you the truth.I did cry several times through the series. And the ending had me crying like a baby.

OT:Schindler's List and Old Boy are quite emotional. And both made me cry at the end.

Where The Wild Things Are. Only movie I've ever shed a tear.
Could not connect to that movie AT ALL. I just... couldn't. I had to keep checking my watch and look at my friends looking back at me with a mutual expression of "WTF is this???"
I don't really know what did it for me, I guess it's the acting. It felt real and genuine to me. I really liked the kid's performance.

Up was a movie I just balled through. I don't think there was a moment I wasn't sobbing, even if I was laughing at the same time.

I tend to try and avoid very sad movies otherwise.

Someone else has said it, but Fight Club. I can relate to the narrator throughout the whole movie, and his life up until he goes to those seminars and when Tyler shows up is basically mine.

SO.

MANY.

SPOILERS.

AARRRRRRRRGH!

OT: Clerks. It resonated with me in way that was almost spooky at the time. Most Kevin Smith films seem to have that effect in some way, but Clerks (and Clerks II, I guess) just damn SHOOK me like dog.
