I've got quite a few things I just won't eat and one that I can't. I'll never eat dog or horse meat cause it would be like eating a human to me, and a betrayal of loyalty. I never eat mushrooms cause the smell of them fried reminds me of something real foul. The one I just can't eat no matter how many times I try is sushi. Nothing brings on my gag reflex like the seaweed its wrapped in, I just can't down it. Also when I was younger I used to refuse to eat onions because they were poisonous to dogs.

you take that back right away! pork is the most delicious, most gloriously fatty, artery-cloggingly awesome meat there is... well, the belly is. the rest is just alright I guess.

I'm a vegetarian because of the Peter Singer arguements myself. Basically:

1) Ethically animals are treated poorly and are themselves sentient. They evolved alongside us and feel pain just like humans.

2) Human's don't need to eat meat to have a healthy diet. In fact many people have far too much meat in their diets and have health problems because of it.

3) Farming meat is completely inefficient. Beef is one of the most inefficient sources of protein to produce over time. We feed the animals on grain and other things which humans can eat ourselves and so theres a boatload of nutrition lost in the production process.

4) Carrying on from 3, if we produced everything arably then we could actually feed most of the worlds population. Considering the world is growing and is set to peak at 9 billion by around 2050 we need effecieny and sustainability in food production.

It is for this reason too that I reject free market capitalism. Not that i'm socialist or anything, just that if people produce what is demanded then when there is more and more demand for meat it means that there will be less and less food in the world. Those who can't afford food are left to starve while those who can will eat everything.
while 2 3 and 4 points are valid but 1 isn't ever since figured out the animals don't grow as well when stressed they stopped treating them poorly so they got bigger and now that is in the interest of money to treat animals well most do and the way they kill the animals means they feel no pain.(except for chickens which I Have never done reasearch on so I don't know)

Any food that has a strong aroma
anything that pretty much smells too strong

I can't enjoy eating it if the smell is clouding the taste.

I don't eat anything by Nestle or use any companies they've brought out and have some sort of say in.
It's really hard because they're such a massive fucking company -_-

I can't stand the taste of most fish, or rather, the taste of most fish the way they're usualy cooked in Spain. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too damn salty. Ironically (or rather not because I explained why I don't like fish), I LOVE sushi. I could eat it all day.

It's not really ideological (and so a little bit off topic), but I basically don't eat anything. I can basically promise you that you have never met anyone as picky as I am.

The main reason that I'm not a vegetarian or anything like that is because I would starve to death if I limited my diet even further than it already is.

Human.

I'd love to try it but for some stupid reason I can't find anywhere that sells it.

If you're going to reply to this with some kind of moral outrage then I advise you to get yourself a sense of humour.

I avoid eating fast-food/snacks containing unnecessary amounts of fats and carbon-hydrates when I know that I do not need such a ridiculously high amount of energy. I also avoid eating things containing chemicals that are not recyclable in nature.

I avoid eating at McDonalds in particular because I dislike the brand and franchise.

Hmm lets see... how about CANDIES? especially BUBBLE GUMS. I dunno why but I feel sick and wanting to throw up when I have them in my mouth. Even just the smell of them is enough to put me off.

I do like chocolates though, but I steer clear from fancy ones. hmm... =\

Maybe I just dont eat sweets that have light or bright colors?

I eat anything I run across essentially. Strange foreign fruits and vegetables, parts of the animal most people won't eat like brains or eyes or intestines. Fish with the head on them. Pickled fruit. Mushrooms, mollusks and moldy cheese. They all have their charm, and I don't think I've ever met a food I didn't like with a few exceptions for acquired tastes. I think most people are too delicate in their appetites. I have a friend for instance who can't eat fish with the head on it. What's the difference? Another friend of mine was at our house once, enjoying some nopales. "Mmm" he says, "This is really good. What... *Mulph.* What is this?" "Oh that's cactus." He looked dead pan, put down his fork, spat out what he had in his mouth and stopped eating. I don't understand some people. In any event, I keep an open mind about food.

As for health or ethical reasons, I won't eat anything with a sufficient IQ like monkeys or dolphins or people. I also try to stay clear of carcinogens like sodium benzoate. Aspartame is also on my avoid list, for a number of reasons. If you looked into it, it's disturbing the amount of problems that arise form consuming it and the shenanigans they had to pull to get it past the FDA. These shenanigans include bribes, visibly doctored reports, firings and Donald Rumsfeld.

Scallop, squid or octopus, especially when raw. Their taste is okay, but the texture somehow makes me want to puke.

Mushrooms makes me instantly sick; even when I don't know they are in the food in advance. I think it's the texture but it might be allergies or psychosomatic.

Seriously mushrooms are the devil's food: You chop them and you expect them to be solid but they just squish, they are neither (truely) animal nor vegetable and they look funny.

I don't eat McDonalds. Vile disgusting crap.

I also avoid any animal that has the potential of using rudimentary tools, has developed sought-of thumbs or has an IQ greater than 74.
