A new Age of Mythology
OH HELL YES. Improved graphics, more civilizations, and actually decent online play (the first two are optional but recommended, but the last one should totally be there) would take it from 'overlooked gem' to 'Best RTS Ever'.

Also, a sandbox game that's set in an alternate, cyberpunk version of the 1920s where instead of a futile attempt to ban alcohol, they make a futile attempt to ban genetic/mechanical augmentation. That premise has been kicking around in my head for a while, but it could be awesome...
Would be hard to balance more than 4 different civilizations, however since they managed 4 so eprfectly, maybe they can do more.

I totally agree on the multiplayer part, but at least they didn't totally shut down multiplayer like EA does to all its games.

A direct sequel to Ocarina of Time with romance options would a shipper's dream come to life.

And DEFINITELY not including ME.

A sequel to The World Ends With You.

I mean sure, it doesn't really need one, but I would squeal like a schoolgirl if that was announced. I wouldn't even care if it wasn't as good as the first, I would want it.

Maybe one day it'll happen...
This here [http://twitter.com/#!/RogersBase/status/60853533662121984] says your dream might come true. I just finished the original (and now screw around with the post-game content) and I would make my pants warm and wet if that turns out to be true.
My God, don't get my hopes up! My heart is already beating super fast now. Lol.

A expansion pack to Neverwinter Nights 2 that allows you to return after the events of Mask of the Betrayer, and go on more adventures in Neverwinter until
the Spellplauge.

Failing that, Neverwinter Nights 3 or KotOR 3.

warcraft 4.

a real sequel to warcraft 3.
the game would start off exactly where 3 ended, as if 'world of' never happened.

alas, today was not the day that announcement was made.
I would say WoW is non-canon.
Mostly because WoW lore is screwed up, at one point the WoW story went BACKWARDS :S

Would be nice with Warcraft IV yes.

If Valve or Bioware announced they went bankrupt and are closing their doors permanently.

Oh, wait, you mean crap my pants because I'm so happy? In that case then it'd have to be if Valve announced Half Life 3 comes out tomorrow. That'd be nice....
EDIT: Oh, and if EA fired their entire marketing department. Now that would be a reason to celebrate.

Bioware and Bethesda are teaming up to make Arcanum 2.
Don't let those hacks near what could be the best game ever.(I know their are some good developers at Bioware but they don't have the right style for Arcanum.)

Interplay reforms Black Isle Studios and releases Arcanum 2 with no prior announcement, then after you install the game it asks you if you want to install the Planescape: Torment 2 demo and Van Buren.

This thread is making my want to faceplam HARD.
If any of you are ever wondering why all we ever seem to get these days are "sequels, ripoffs, and wank," as Yahtzee so eloquently put it, look yourselves in the mirror and you'll find the answer.
I don't really think so, it makes sense that sequel announcements are more likely to make someone crap there pants, because the excitement from the original game is already there and can use it as a launch pad. It doesn't necessarily mean people don't want original content or new IP's.

Someone early on mentioned Shadowrun 2. I wasn't very impressed with what they did with the IP in making the FPS game(the old SNES and Genesis versions were awesome though), but I have always thought that the Shadowrun world would be amazing for an MMO. It has all the reasons built into it to fit the normal MMO styles, reasons to group up and do missions and just a really vibrant world.

Any Valve game with a 3 in it. The seem to have made a sequel for almost all of their games, but never a third.

I have a couple of games I'd love to see announced at E3:

Jade Empire 2 (or any form of Jade Empire sequel :p)

Timesplitters 4 (seriously Crytec, don't hold out on me)

A Monster Hunter console title (that isn't the Wii) with full online support :p

So your waiting for L4D 3 as well? Maybe the most anticipated Valve game.

Thats a good thing. Think of how much we would have missed out on if valve was currently developing their 14th yearly release of yet another Half-Life game.

Yeah it is weird, they were SO CLOSE to Half life 3/episode 3, but stopped at 2 and 2 :S
TF2
HL2
HL2:E2
Portal 2
L4D2

I think as soon as they release L4D3 the magical powers of newell creates HL3 too.
