Bioshock. I had a lot of fun playing that game, partly because it plays more like Doom than any AAA first-person shooter this generation, and the story was pretty good too. Unfortunately, I kinda gave up just before when I started looking for Big Daddy parts in my size.
I've attempted Bioshock on three different occasions but have yet to finish the game. I really enjoy the game, but for some reason I just stop playing it.

I've also never finished Fallout 3. I really enjoyed it for a while, but it became too big of a grind (especially getting around by subway).

Just Cause 2 got way too repetitive and the sheer size of that game makes me never want to go back to it.

Like many others I can't seem to finish Fallout: New Vegas. I want to finish all the sidequest and not rush to the end and then see that I've missed alot of stuff, but I just feel that it's annoying to go and hunt down all the sidequests.

Also, Vampire: the masquerade - Bloodlines. I was having so much fun with it but when I was at the end of chinatown I just couldn't bring myself to continue, mostly due to me being unable to complete a certain sidequest when I had done all the other ones in the story so far.

Why yes, I am a perfectionist. How did you know?

Planescape Torment - Dunno why its so hard for me to finish this one, I probably will some day, but there's too many newer games out on the market that are good.

Any Hearts of Iron game - I have a lot of fun with these, doing insane shit like taking over huge swathes of Asia as Nationalist China(getting so far that I even invaded Iraq,) but I've never actually played a game to completion.

Metro 2033 -- The fucking Library. Librarians are the definition of bulletsponges.
Technically you aren't even supposed to fight them, everyone advises you to run, and you get an achievement if you ever manage to kill one. That being said, Get a pneumatic rifle, pump it up and try to get a few headshots. If the librarian is moving around too much just go for center of mass hits. Even if it takes 10-15 shots to take it down(which it wont), you will be able to get all your ammunition back from the corpse. You can actually use the same trick to kill those flying 'demons;' although with them you are more likely to miss and lose ammunition.

Because of the final boss. It uses the floor you're standing on, random enemies it summons, and its own giant laser things to attack you.

Final Fantasy V. Points came for the jobs in a really slow manner. I'm not likely to finish it.

Morrowind. I need to go back and finish it at some point, but I just keep doing sidequests instead.

So I remember Earlier this year, I had Super Mario Galaxy 2, and I was having so much fun with it. But, I never beat, hell I got ride of it a few months later For Infamous 2 and even Sold My Wii in June. I just felt that "getting all the stars" and "See what level" wasn't motivating me enough to finish it. Has this ever happened with you? You had a lot fun with a game and never finished it? What game and why?
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

Why? Because killing Hookers, innocent bystandards, police officers, gang members and blowing up tons of cars resulting in a major highway blockage while I rode up to the tallest building on my Jetpack to outrun the entire Army was just too much f*cking fun to give a damn about the story :D

LittleBigPlanet.

I got stuck on that military level with the spinning electric wheel. Tried multiple times to get past it and failed miserably every time. Gave up the next day.

Final Fantasy X. Loved the story, loved the characters but just didn't want it to end. And now my PS2 is broken it looks like I got my wish.
The ending is a bit sad imo but there is a sercret ending in x-2 that fixes it. Just a shame that the rest of x-2 was a gient pool of duck piss. As for your ps2 being broken if you have a PS3 then good news they are doing either a remake or an HD face lift like they did with PoP and Metel gear.

OP: Bioshock 2. Loved the first, enjoyed the begining of 2 but it did not hook me as much as the first and then I got Dragon age origins and Mass effect 2 a few days after that and never got roulnd to finishing it.

Dr Muto. The only one I didn't complete the main storyline, not counting unlockable levels. Got stuck on a water level and water levels creep me out.
Sonic Heroes. Never managed to collect all the chaos emeralds.
Most of the Crash Bandicoot games. Just got bored over time, especially with the time trials.
Rayman 3. Got stuck lat on then got distracted.
Just Cause 2. Just too much stuff with it being too repetitive.

Metro 2033, because I can't get past that hallway with all the amoebas.
Dragon Age Origins, because my first character and party turned out too pathetic to go any further and the thought of starting a new game playing through the Fade and Deep Roads sections again makes me just want to do something else.

Red Dead Redemption

Opened up everywhere, I suspect I'm only a few missions from the end, but I just started getting a little bored, and wandered off to play something else. I'm not completely sure why, it just wasn't as fun. Maybe I'll get back to it someday, but if I do, it will be to finish it so I don't feel bad about selling it.

That's why I finally went back and finished the last few missions of GTA IV after months of not playing it. It quit being fun when I had to keep so many NPCs happy.

suikoden.......the first and only good one.....I had it for the psx and really wish I could a finished it.....I had it was I was much younger around 5-6......I made it to the castle with the dragon and never could beat the dragon.....the disc later got too scarred up and didn't work.........since then it's the only game I have never finished, other than the crap games I get too bored with to care about the ending.

Oblivion. Some of the sidequests are quite entertaining, but the main storyline is a slog. I'll probably never finish it.
