For me it was Demon Soul. I thought it was going to be similar to Dragon Age. It wasn't. All I can remember doing, before I traded the game in, was starting over again and again and again. If there had been a saved point it would have helped but the game always seemed to start you all over. Hated that one. I didn't even finish it.

Killzone 2 was a little of a let down. Also Alone In The Dark. That had such promise, but was absolute shit.

I feel like I've said this before recently...

Dark Sector. I bought it day one and oh boy was that a bad idea. Horrid game, especially for full price.

Definitely Dragon Age: Origin

After hearing so much hype about it and all the raving reviews for it, I figured it would be amazing.

Sadly, I was mistaken. I found it to be boring and it felt very generic.

Gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with Fable 2. Really was hoping for something better than what I got with that.

I've said it before and I'll say it again Wild Arms 4, it ripped out everything awesome about the First Wild Arms and replaced it with generic spooge.

Fracture
It was pitched as a great terrain-deforming based third person shooter. It was supposed to be like Gears of War with strategically destructible terrain.
Example: Their was a grenade that caused a giant stone pillar shoot out of the ground, which could be used as a way to get up to high ground, smash someone against the ceiling or lift up a bridge.
Reality: A mediocre GoW clone that had a protagonist called Jet Brody.

GTA IV, I was expecting fast car chases, good controls, quirkiness, quickness of gameplay and good aiming controls instead what I got was a dull coloured, phone call every 5 minutes, awkward controlling and down right slow gameplaying game. Its still good just not anything amazing.

Musahsi for the ps2. It was great hack and slashy fun it was. Too bad the game annoyed me into trading it in. Also phantom brave. So much grinding. Why?

^ Ripper Roo! Win.

Far Cry 2. I'm mad I payed full price for it, but if you don't expect any story or anything, the action part is pretty good.

Tekken 6. I just expected it to be better than Soul Calibur IV, it failed even at that epically.

Dantes inferno

After all the hype it turned out incredibly mediocre. And I almost played full price for it.

Modern Warfare 2. I didn't think I'd like it anyway, but I gave it a shot, because certain people told me it was basically the second coming of Christ.

It was nowhere near that good. In fact, every current generation game I own is better. I'm so glad I didn't buy it.
