While I agree with this, I think It's just the multi-player that needs to go away. It is so aggravating yet so addictive.

I love most COD single player campaigns, especially 2, 4, 5 and 6, and spec ops and nazi zombies were amazing.

As someone who has been playing Guitar Hero since its release, and someone who has watched it go from sleeper hit to pop-culture phenomenon to dated fad in just three years, I think Activision needs to stop. I don't mind DLC, but Neversoft has milked this franchise to its death.

I think Nintendo needs to kill off Mario, Metroid, Zelda, Donkey Kong, etc. They are just relying on the same characters and the same basic gameplay premise and they have been for years. Just because they're Nintendo doesn't mean they don't have to come up with new and interesting stories and characters. When's the last time you've played a Mario game and didn't know you would fight bowser at the end? It's just the same old song and dance as far as I'm concerned only they change a step or two with every new release.

Super Paper Mario... that game sucked anyway.

So much yes. Tomb Raider was never anything else than two polygon tits, and a polygon ass. Tons of games do platforming better, and tons of games do 3rd person shooting better. That game series has been paddling around in mediocrity, ever since Tomb Raider 1. Now they're making some top down puzzle game that you can co-op with.. Just let the franchise die, make something that doesn't feature a character who looks like a late 80's porn star.

Halo - getting more poorly written every game and just become copy paste mad

Infinity Ward CoD games - I'm talking from CoD4's map pack onward, Infinity Ward has just thought oh we're doing well why bother putting that much effort in now? (Treyarch did a good job with WaW and listened to and made an effort with the community)

Gears of War - granted I played through 2 before 1 but I don't understand how the plot goes from A to B. It just seems a case of lets run with it and see what happens
