Batman: Arkham Asylum as well. I would just wander around the island I loved the polish that went into that game.

and Mass Effect 2- The eponymous insanity difficulty was pretty damn challenging. Makes you feel like you survived a suicide mission though

Assassin's Creed 2 and Fallout 3 with all the Downloadable Content available. Needless to say that Fallout 3 was much more enjoyable and time consuming.

Every Fire Emblem release in the US

Jet Grind Radio and Jet Set Radio Future

Super Smash Brothers and Super Smash Brothers Melee

StarCraft

Kirby Super Star (original AND remake) and Kirby Squeak Squad

Kings Bounty: The Legacy

Not much else. I usually just complete a game once and only fully complete something if I care about it. I think the only game I've ever tried and failed to fully complete was Power Stone 2 (I'm in the process of fully completing it now, I came so close years ago and then lost my Dreamcast :( )

Plus a lot of the games I play (Total War series, Paradox Grand Strategy games, Galactic Civilizations) aren't the sort of games you can really ever say you've "beaten"

By my definition of 100%, I've done Morrowind, Oblivon, and both Mass Effects. Also BF1943. Morrowind is the only iffy one since I didn't do any Vampire quests, but that's because I locked myself out of them, which is still finishing them... kind of.

Letsee... Super Mario 64 (twice), Super Mario 64 DS (thrice), Super Mario Sunshine (twice), Super Mario Galaxy, including the 121st star, Pokemon Blue, Pokemon Gold, Pokemon Stadium, Pokemon Stadium 2, Riviera: The Promised Land, Golden Sun (all three), I've done 90% of Sonic Adventure 2: Battle about three times, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles (twice), Diddy Kong Racing, Mario Kart 64, Resident Evil 4, Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Paper Mario, Kirby 64 (several times, that one's pretty short)... there may be more I can't remember right now.

Most of those multiples are due to annoying file corruptions/erases.

Currently on my completion list: Metroid Prime Trilogy, Tales of Symphonia, Pokemon Sapphire, Pokemon Pearl, Muramasa: The Demon Blade... if I'm lucky I'll get Mario Galaxy 2 for xmas and it's destruction can commence.

For older games, I rarely cared too much about completion, or at the very least some games made it hard to figure out if you had completed it. Here's some I am sure of, but I know there must be more.... To be honest, I like achievements more for giving me a better idea of challenges in the game far more then a measuring stick for how good a player is (after all, who has better skills, the guy who got 200 points in Trials HD or the one who got 1000 points in Avatar the Last Air Bender?)

Contra... without dieing at all, yes, I played it that much
Super Mario 1-3, if going though the game, every stage, no shortcuts counts
Zelda 1, only one I'm sure I did everything that can be done
Sonic 1-3 S+K and CD, Played all these quite completely
Spyro the Dragon if it was to be collected, I did so

For games that I can still tell I got 100 percent in....

Dead Rising, Case 0 (stupid co op stuff in the main game is killing me here.)
Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 (I just love these Lego games and platformers in general)
Lego Star Wars Complete (See Above)
Up
Open Season
Banjo Kazooie + Banjo Tatooie (again the online is killing me on Nuts and Bolts)
Fallout 3 (on 360 and PC, this includes all extras)
Assassin's Creed 1+2
Viva Pinata
TMNT
Dash of Destruction (AKA, the first Doritos game)
Worms
All the Sly Collection games
Borderlands (without extras
all the Ratchet and Clank games... even the PSP ones
God of War 3
Ice Age 3
Wolverine
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
Sonic's Ultimate Collection (Now mind you, I didn't beat every game, just got the trophies, after all, some of them just suck)

Then there's the 3 games that just hover out of reach no matter how much I try to finish them...
Beautiful Katamari (I just can't find the last of the stuff in the game for 100% compleation)
Legend of Spyro (It's not easy to do a play through in co op without a kid)
Infamous (Stupid Stunt Trophy)

The question is pretty much there.

The only game I can say it for was Batman: Arkham Asylum. I'm not saying that's a hard game to do that on, but the only one that's ever been technically 100%.

The only other game I could possibly say was Morrowind, in which I'd done all the guilds and quests that I could find etc, but I wouldn't really put it as not quite all my stats were at 100.

I was just thinking how few games I'd completed to that extent. So I was wondering what other games gripped people like that so they did absolutely all of it. I'm referring mainly to fairly recent games here, because obviously the further back you go the less there was in games to 'complete'.
Ive done borderlands, and assassins creed 2, im trying to get thru heavy rain, but its so depressingly tedious because you need to do the same part 35 times to get the tropy... i have like 4 more to go.... and im about ready to send it back to gamefly and give up

also, i tried demon souls, needless to say i no longer have a soul

Are we talking trophies/achievements here, or only games (like the GTA series, for example) that have a 100% tracker? As for the latter, I know for a fact that I did that with GTA III, Vice City, San Andreas, and IV. I'm sure there are a bunch of other games like that, since I tend to have this nagging compulsion to complete a game to 100% if that's an option. With regards to trophies, well, that's something I can actually check:

Rock Band 2
God of War 2
God of War
Battlefield: Bad Company 2
Modern Warfare 2
Quantum of Solace
Assassin's Creed 2
The Godfather 2
Fallout 3 + DLC
Terminator Salvation
Dead Space
inFamous
Uncharted
Prince of Persia
Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection
Bioshock (I'm one trophy short, so I'm throwing this one in anyway)

I've also had 100% on World at War, Uncharted 2, Resident Evil 5, and GTA IV in the past, but then those damn DLC packs came out. I can't be bothered with WaW, RE 5, or Uncharted 2, but I'll be damned if my GTA IV trophy progress reads anything less than 100%.

Oh boy there we go. Hardest ones are in bold.
Also note that I do NOT use guides. I still believe in the fact that you should experience and find everything yourself. Makes games much more fun. Making some a bit harder then you might think.

Super Mario World : 100%, unlocked and finished every stage.

Super Mario Kart: fully completed the game on highest CC with every character.

Donkey Kong Countery 1,2,3: Fully completed all games with all DK coins/Bonus coins.

Metroid Fusion, Other M, Zero Mission, Super, Prime 1,2,3: Fully completed game on highest difficulty setting and 100% items and 100% scans. Also did speedruns on several of them.

Legend of Zelda Wind Waker: All secrets and pieces of heart.

Mirror's Edge: 3 stars on every time trial, completed every speedrun, every package found, completed on hard. The speedruns were insanely hard to do.

Resident Evil 4, and semi 5: completed on every difficulty, completed KnifeRun only on highest difficulty (RE4), completed FreshProRun (RE5), unlocked all weapons to max, all treasures etc. Highest amount of stars on every Merc stage with every character(RE4) and S rating on every stage with one character (RE5)

Splinter Cell 1,2,3 and kinda 4: Completed every mission in 1 'till 3 without using gadgets on hardest difficulty without being seen. In Double Agent I got a 100% rating on every mission except the last one which was bugged so it was impossible.

Prince of Persia SoT, WW, TT, FS: Collected everything, beaten on all difficulties and beaten all games without using sands.

Demon's Souls: Completed the game untill NG+10, have every weapon atleast 4 times, every spell, every miracle, every weapon upgrade done, current gear maxed out.
Would have been a lot easier with guides I think, since finding every teacher and secret took some serious searching. How they ever thought people would find Yuria on their own was beyond me. Took me weeks xD

Star Wars Rogue Leader (Gamecube): beaten on highest difficulty, including that secret one (arcade was it called?) and unlocked every mission. Highest medal on every mission.

James Bond Agent under Fire / nightfire: Platinum Medal on every mission.

Beyond Good and Evil: speedrunned in 4 hours, got every pearl, photograph and completed every minigame 100%.

Baten Kaitos: Got every card in the game. Nuff said. This is insanely hard since around 1/5th of all the 2000+ cards are missable and you won't get a second chance.

MW2: Seriously, who doesn't?

Batman Arkham Asylum: Beaten the game on hard without gadgets and taking damage, completed everything there was to complete and found all riddles.

Heavy Rain: Seen all endings.

Pokemon Blue and Gold: Got a 100% pokedex.

Infamous: simply got everything.

Uncharted 2: The designers were pretty darn good at hiding those treasures. Took me a while to find them.

HONERABLE MENTIONS:

Bayonetta: Got around 100% on the character Bayonetta (still need to get Pure Platinum on some stages). But haven't started with Jean and Zero yet.

Borderlands: Completed everything with Soldier class. Not the other ones.

FZero GX: Completed every Cup on Master Difficulty and completed the entire campaign on Hard. I consider this good enough to get a mention. Completing the campaign on Very Hard was just too much for me sorry.

And before people ask. I don't buy a lot of games due to money issues. So when I buy a game, I try to get as much out of it as humanly possible. Hence my lust for 100%.
