The earliest games I remember playing were Super Mario Bros, Duck Hunt, and Metroid for the NES. However, my fondest memories lay with my N64 and the many games I had for that.

I was an NES and Super Nintendo kid.
I remember the saying from the commercial and around school was: "Sega does what Nintendont"
To which me and my friends would reply: "Yeah, suck ass"

...Yep. Those were the good days.

Nintendo, Nintendo, and more Nintendo. NES, SNES, AND N64. I also had a good amount of PS1 in there (mostly FFVII) and I really grew up with Morrowind.

My first game console in the house was a Sega Genesis, and the most popular games we had on it were Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Batman Forever, the Berenstein Bears, and although it was only a rental, Starman.

We never DID get past Carnival Nights in StH 3 because of that stupid area where it locks you in a room with some floaty-spinny-carousel thing. Many failed attempts at timed jumps later, the ol' SG just... stopped working.

Rest in peace, friend. You did your job well.

My parents were going to get me a PlayStation at a young age, but they were afraid I'd break the discs, so they got me an N64. Was raised on Super Mario 64, Mario Kart, Harvest Moon, and ESPECIALLY Star Fox 64. I actually learned to both help frogs AND stop, drop and barrel-roll before age 5.

I grew up on my father's (and mother's) knee, watching as they played Mechwarrior 2. That epic struggle between clan Jade Falcon and clan Wolf was the very first game I ever laid eyes on. When I was too young to play, I watched them do it, and when I was old enough, I was able to play though the missions I had seen them do so many times before.

Me, my mother, and my father all had different favorite mech's. Dad liked the Nova, a small mech that could spit lots of lasers really fast. Mom liked the Marauder, a much much heavier mech with a combination of firepower, armor, and mobility. I liked the Stormcrow, a mech only slightly larger than the nova, with a decent mix of laser weapons and speed.

Those were good days.

Duke Nukem 3D when I was like 4. :p I also played RTCW with my brother, and the zombies scared the crap out of me. Still creep me out a bit today, too. Although, the ones with the shields piss me off more than scare me. I also slightly remember some DOS games with a plane and Formula 1 racing...ehm.

Super Mario World, Super Mario RPG, Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past, Mario Kart, Strike Gunner, Jurrasic Park 2.

I loved my SNES.

I played the original Super Mario Bros. on my cousin's NES. They had Archon on there too, that game was cool.

I was raised on the SNES, Genesis, and I really got into gaming during the N64 and Playstation years.
The original Sonic games, Super Mario World, Mario Paint, Tetris, Goldeneye 007, NHL 99, Donkey Kong 64... these titles were my childhood.
