N64 classics like Super Mario 64 (my first game), Yoshi's Story, Resident Evil 2, LoZ Ocarina of Time, Star Fox 64, Goldeneye, Pokemon Stadium, and others that I may have forgotten.

8 bit sonic on the sega megadrive and that was mostly because i couldnt complete the terminator game on said megadrive
it was simply addictive and brilliant too complete and gave me a massive sense of accomplisment so i kept looking for that sense of accomplishment and thats what made me a gamer

My first console was the NES, followed by Sega and the SNES, and the first game I remember playing was Bubble Bobble. So...yeah. I also had a few Disney-based games: Aladdin, Lion King, and one other I can't remember. My dad was into racing games, we had Lotus and some motorcycle title I don't remember, but we played a lot of those together. On my own I also played quite a bit of Sonic and Ecco the Dolphin (most frustrating game ever).

When we got the N64, it was all about Mario Kart. I also played a little Goldeneye, Donkey Kong, Banjo Kazooie, and a few Pokemon games (Snap and Stadium, which went along with me playing Yellow, Red, and Blue on the gameboy).

On the PC, it was all about Deus Ex, Baldur's Gate, and eventually Neverwinter Nights. I became a big fan of BioWare games because of their RPGs.

Started gaming with the 48k spectrum with Manic Miner, Attic Attack, Horace goes Skiing. Some great games and it was a joy waiting 20 minutes for them to load from the tape recorder :-(

Of course there was Super Mario 64, Mario Kart, Golden Eye, Zelda's, Crash Bandicoot, and the original Spyro's[before he sucked :D] for my console games i grew up on, but i remember putting a lot of time into the Pokemon's. Yellow, Silver, Ruby, FireRed, Diamond.. Those were all the ones I ever owned :D LOL

But the first game i ever really liked was Garfields DreamLand for PC. Very old and terrible to modern standards. But i loved it..

I think I might Download it... :D

I was six at the time. My dad's ship had an extra PS1, so he brought it home with a copy of Spyro the Dragon and his Gran Turismo games. I remember he was trying to be exciting about it--holding it behind his back and sneaking up with it, but I didn't even know what it was.

I could only ever make it as far as the Magic Crafter's world until I was like, eleven. I finished with 100% for the first time just this summer. On the other hand, I still suck at Gran Turismo.

I never got a console of any type so i was exclusively left to PC gaming.
My first experience with a game of any type was Doom on my dad's work computer, but i played that for like 5 minutes.
Then i was stuck on my mom's Apple playing educational games like Oregon Trail, the Backyard Sports games, Putt Putt, and the Carmen Sandiago games until I was 8, when my dad finally bought a home PC which I then installed Mechwarrior 4 onto.
That game was amazing, and I played that for the longest time before I got my hands on a whole gaggle of now classic amazing games.
so first was
Mechwarrior 4
X-wing Alliance
Star Wars Jedi Knight and Jedi Outcast
Microsoft Combat Flight Simulators 1 and 2
Warcraft 3 and Starcraft
Morrowind

Moon Patrol [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moon_Patrol] was one of the first games I remember playing. I could only have been 5 or 6, it was some time in the mid 80s.

Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zak_McKracken_and_the_Alien_Mindbenders] was one of the first games actually owned and really, seriously played. It was a LucasArts game, not as well known as its predecessor Maniac Mansion or its successor Day of the Tentacle, but man, I loved it.

My Game Boy Color raised me. Yep, Pokemon Crystal, Megaman Xtreme 2, Perfect Dark (Rumble Pak for the GBC, was amusing, as was the voice acting), Legend of Zelda, Oracle of Ages/Seasons.

Also a few PC games, when I was good at racing games: MotoRacer (yeah, the first one) and Re-Volt (best RC racing game ever).
