Hk-47 from KotoR, not only can he humor me, he is a killing machine, literally
Statement: Excellent choice, HK has enjoyed protecting his masters and their interests from meatbags for several hundred years.

Although he always ended up being the cause of his masters demise.

I'd just have Kratos. Give him a deck chair, couple magazines, a few postmen to get some red orbs from, and as soon as anyone unwanted comes to the door, BLAM!

Not so, my good man. You seem to have forgotten the dreaded Tarrasque. The Mary-Sue of monsters. As long as it was well-trained.
a creature said to be to stupid to be good or evil is gonna demolish the house it was to protect, but it is incredibly OP, ill give u that

Frank Horrigan of Fallout2. Seriously though the guy could punch a Deathclaw in half and laugh off a plasma rifle like he was being tickled. Him or the worm from Gears of War Two.

One of the Really big Monsters in the the Monster Hunter games, a Tank from l4d or a Xenomorph King(tame and look it up in wiki, looks badass) either 1 of them or hav all 3 as the best tag team defense force ever!

I want Gordon Freeman. I don't care if he isn't a monster. nothing could get by him, and when He gets bored we could play chess.

Orcus, Demon Prince of the Undead, from D&D 4th.
Or more likely to be willing to guard my house: a Helmed Horror, also from D&D 4th.

ARH! HK-47 alrdy mentioned...

Apart from him, I'll use both the minion armies of my Diablo 2 and Guild Wars Necromancers.. then again.. I'll need a fair amount of fresh corpses to set my defenses up.. not to mention keeping the Guild Wars minions alive!

Ooorrrr... I could use those nifty puppets from the Shalebridge Cradle... that'll scare people off. Though their constant hissing and twitching will probably keep me from sleeping.

Frank Horrigan. [http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Frank_Horrigan] Enough said.
Goddamnded seconded.
A power-armored super mutant that can punch a Deathclaw to pieces with his bare fist is just what I need to keep those darned kids off my lawn.
