I loved Pink Panther and the original Tom & Jerry cartoons. I don't know what has happened to modern cartoons but they aren't even close to the magic the older ones have/had... its kinda sad really.

One of my favourite childhood cartoons was Tom & Jerry.... it's quite obvious what ruined that... political correctness.... Tom or Jerry can no longer smoke, some of the characters were removed as apparently they were stereotypical "black people", tom and jerry can't fight each other in certain ways anymore as it's not politicaly correct to do so.

In the end, it's all a load of crap aswell... I grew up watching this show every week and them smoking has never inclined me to smoke..... I'm not some racist biggot, in fact i'm extremely open minded with the majority of things..... I'm not a psychopathic mass murderer who can't tell the difference between cartoons and reality..... Anyhow rant over.... I blame Political correctness, and also just a general lack of good cartoon writers.

they have it on daily on there cartoon network plus its in english (Arabic subtitles)

But damn did that Show kick ass or what ?

They should make a fully animated movie or atleast finish the show !

The whole theme is gone Tom and Jerry would be in everyday situations 80% of the time in the house causing Chaos

the new one completely ditches this theme and introduces a whole bunch of shovel ware plus there alot more talking which screws it all up THERE SHOULD ONLY BE MUSIC !

I know. I loved Pinky and the Brain,everything has been downhill fromthere.

pinky and the brain and the whole animaniacs crew, i miss them all so much. There are 1 or new good ones but i think cartoons and cartoonists are scared to try some thing new. Sponegebob became hugely popular because its complete idiotic crew so now every other cartoon as some sort of idiotic crew or cast to try and make it as big as SpongeBob so we are in a never ending loop of idiocy

That is an interesting theory, I never got why people liked Sponge Bob, it is one of those shows that actually makes you more dumb.

I don't think cartoons make people Dumb I prefer to blame rap music (especially that Bullshit excuse for music that is played in america all it does is copy a crappy rock song from the 80's and change the words to shit thats supposed to get stuck in your head for days like subliminal messaging) and the no child left behind act.

Oh man, yes Rap is the worst. It is all anyone plays as far as "dance music" goes even though there is music that is much better to dance to. Rap isn't even really music because it lacks melody.

My favorites were Hey Arnold!, Doug, Animaniacs, Tiny Toons, Fairly Odd Parents, Pinky and the Brain, Johnny Bravo, Spongebob, and of course my personal favorite: Ed, Edd, and Eddy!!!

Johnny Bravo was absolutely brilliant. Not many cartoons are good anymore. They should bring back Johnny Bravo (I saw a christmas special christmas '08, and it had me LOL for half an hour).

People became to dumb to appreciate the subtle humor that once existed in cartoons.
Jokes that leave you thinking, "Wait...what?" for a little less than a minute and then you think, "OH! I GET IT!" Then the LOLing ensues.
