It's just a hobby mate :) - be proud of your hobby. You don't need to shout from the roof-tops or anything, but you're among friends here.
I phrased that wrong! I am proud of being a gamer, going to nerdy cons and talking about games with my buddies. I'm just not proud of any one thing I have done in a game...
Maybe screwing the psycho in mass effect 2 xD

I think either my first successful quickscope in an online match of MW2, or almost beating the Metroid Prime Core. I'm not as bad at video games as I sound. ;D
I cannot beat the final boss of Metroid Prime. I just can't. No sir.

Anyone love those moments when your playing a game with music in the background and for a solid minute or two the music suits the moment of the game SOOOOOO perfectly that you just go into some weird groove? Weirdly mad Sorceress spell spamming on Diablo 2 had several of these moments with metal/punk songs...

Gotta be the time when I was playing Killing Floor on Hard difficulty.

I was in a full server and somehow everyone but me died. We were on Wave 8 (a long game) and sure enough there were plenty of Flesh Pounds and Scrakes about.

I ended up surviving and everyone was very happy.
Man I can't stand Scrakes. They're devastating on Normal, let alone hard. I tip my hat to you.
No offense, but you obviously haven't been playing long yet ?

On topic, my proudest moment would be finishing Jak II first game I ever finished. It just holds very special place in my hart.

HA - Ah, I get you... no one particular event shines...

Well, go for broke: What was the hardest game you've beaten?

Or on tf2 when I got my 15 headshot kills: 1 life record. And it was a proper game too, and I was on the frontlines nearly all the time, and it was decent players.
I was shocked.
More headshots by 1 :D
... *cough - http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y101/Rythmear/plr_pipeline0005.jpg - cough*

Also --> =D http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y101/Rythmear/tc_hydro0000.jpg hehehe
Okay, I call shenanigans, those must have been some awful players!
[small]Sweet reassurances, I'm still good lalalala I can't hear you![/small]

The pyro ones seems about normal for me though, sometimes when I play arena I can go up to 50-60 kills without dying...
Y'know what my favourite class is to play? "Captain Hammerpants." Which is my name for a Pick-axe Soldier. Here, I even made a video =D [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZqA0y6v3A48]
Uh, you know what my steam name [http://steamcommunity.com/id/vilefiend] is?
Are you making the same reference I am?

[small]Or are you stealing my name? -.-[/small]
HOLY WOW WE USE THE SAME NAME!!!

Well, even though this picture is of Me - not You - you could totally use this =D http://cervelliere.deviantart.com/art/Captain-Hammerpants-164634186?q=&qo=
Hah, I might do that!
So is the reference the same, or is it a crazy co-incidence?
The reference being Captain tight pants and Captain Hammer.
Why yes, I do have a man crush on Nathan fillion.

I didn't even see the need to make the text small while saying that. :D

I am an awful spy. Every time I watch a spyvid, and I'm like "I'd love to do that!" and then I load up TF2, search for a server where less than half the team are already snipers/spies/engies...

And then I fail. I cloak too early, so it runs out before I get behind the lines properly and I have horrible luck when it comes to people just 'turning around' at the last second. As much as the spy is in theory my favourite class, my natural talent lies with Heavy Weapons Guy and his delightful Sascha. (or the sniper, because they have a more significant skill overlap than you think when it comes to positioning, ambush, and enemy player prediction)
Well, if you're looking for a different kind of video to watch for inspiration - watch this one, the Music alone is awesome enough. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2k5u6z-o2x8]

Thanks :), I always go achievement hunting as well. But unfortunately had to start a new account, so I now have a silly rule that I will get at least 500G for one game before moving on to the next :)

But yeah, that was definitely the hardest achievement I have ever done.
It's a pity there's no 'Gamerscore' on Steam... I'd Love that.
I've never really been a PC gamer, always had consoles. But all the good Strategy games are on the PC :( and it cost a lot of money to buy a gaming PC, so I will never unfortunately get into it sadly. Someday maybe...

Also, I've never got the hang of controls of PC FPS games. I'm not very good at that but I guess it comes from practise. Which I've had next to none of.

I'm not sure if My Acer Aspire 5535 would make the cut for PC gaming, as I am not sure what good specifications are.
Nothing wrong with consoles - but sometimes PC just does it better. I reckon Consoles are better for racing and platforming - PC's for FPS and RTS.
I've heard that if you are good at controlling your character on an FPS, it's more precise than a console, and how come no strategy's really come out on consoles (besides CivRev and R.U.S.E, those are the ones that I have heard of anyway. Oh and Halo Wars, but that didn't really interest me either).
They don't release RTS on consoles because the Mouse is a superior tool for army control. Yahtzee explains it better than I can in his review of Halo Wars.

Back in the day when I still played TFC, I was good enough as soldier to be called 'the best solly I've ever seen' by allies and 'impossible' or 'cheater' by enemies. I often had kill/death ratios of 10/1, even in high level servers.

I haven't played it in years, so I probably suck now.

I remember playing in a scrim in a Wolfenstien Enemy Territory mod called "True Combat". It was fun, a good mod. Anyhow all my team were dead and...well you can work out the rest. I played a blinder, won the round and the elation was...phenomenal.

Another time I felt like that was in an arena 3's match. We were playing Hunter, Lock (me), druid, and our hunter got gibbed at the start of the match. The druid was my 2's partner. We actually managed to win that match. It was only at like 1500 rating but I remember how hard we played and how awesome it felt to win that game.

Oh, speaking of which, if you manage to get 4 heads as demo knight, rush back to your resupply and equip the sticky launcher. 220 health demo with second fastest speed in game:

Nah, I get your reference - but that show is blocked in Australia.

My Captain Hammerpants is a name I constructed myself. Every Friday when our server scrims, we choose a theme and we have to change our names to it. We were playing Balloon Race, so we went with pirate names. I chose Captain Hammerpants :p

I feigned an accent and got loads of fans on regular servers...

Then the fan-art started pouring in... [http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y101/Rythmear/hammerpants01.jpg]

I must admit, I played the R.U.S.E demo, and it was brilliant, but I would of preferred using a mouse, but still get it on a console. So I decided to get it on the PS3, because you can get PS Move for around £40, and I am curious about how well it works. Also, there is bound to be more good PS move games coming out soon, so it will be worth the money.

In Warhammer Online, I was leading a small Order warband of 24 people in Eataine, trying to take a keep from over 3 times our number of destro. We knocked down the doors and tried to charge them, when that didnt work we pulled back to a BO when Destro came charging out, we snuck past the BO with the entire WB and took the keep quickly, we then held the keep for upwards of 3 hours against 4+ concentrated attacks until the bulk of Order could come on, preventing the lock and allowing us to push back into Dragonwake and later that day we took Caledor

Yeah, people are always commenting on it being an awesome name. I think it's actually funnier when people don't get the reference, it's just a hilarious image! I think I've explained it maybe 3 times in total. I sound wittier that way. :D
