the day i beat ninja gaiden on my nes, i gotten the game like 3 years before and it must have taken me hundreds of tries, i still get goosebumps remembering the rush of adrenaline i got for beating that game

Every time I watch a spyvid, and I'm like "I'd love to do that!" and then I load up TF2, search for a server where less than half the team are already snipers/spies/engies...
And then I fail. I cloak too early, so it runs out before I get behind the lines properly and I have horrible luck when it comes to people just 'turning around' at the last second. As much as the spy is in theory my favourite class, my natural talent lies with Heavy Weapons Guy and his delightful Sascha. (or the sniper, because they have a more significant skill overlap than you think when it comes to positioning, ambush, and enemy player prediction)

I'd advise just waiting and seeing... a little patience can save a Lot of money.CJackson95 said:I must admit, I played the R.U.S.E demo, and it was brilliant, but I would of preferred using a mouse, but still get it on a console. So I decided to get it on the PS3, because you can get PS Move for around £40, and I am curious about how well it works. Also, there is bound to be more good PS move games coming out soon, so it will be worth the money.
Whatever works for you mate - it all works for me!Outright Villainy said:Yeah, people are always commenting on it being an awesome name. I think it's actually funnier when people don't get the reference, it's just a hilarious image! I think I've explained it maybe 3 times in total. I sound wittier that way.![]()

It's just usually that I run out of it too quickly.Oliver Pink said:I'd advise just waiting and seeing... a little patience can save a Lot of money.CJackson95 said:I must admit, I played the R.U.S.E demo, and it was brilliant, but I would of preferred using a mouse, but still get it on a console. Negative. I'm fairly certain the Escapist TF2 server isn't Australian... and playing in overseas servers doesn't exactly bode well for game-play.Outright Villainy said:Wowzers...
Hey, are you on the tf2 escapist server? I don't recognise the name... Then again, my steam name is different too...

'Aint nothing wrong about being good at Smash Brothers my friend =DZeroMachine said:I have three, all involving Halo multiplayer. A 12 kill streak on SWAT in Halo 2, assassinating a famous MLG player twice (also in Halo 2), and a 9 kill streak, last two that I killed were on a Warthog, that made me look like a pro in Halo 3.
I have other things I've done that I've enjoyed more in gaming, but I'm usually not good at multiplayer games save for very specific games like Super Smash Brothers or random nonsense like that. The two for Halo 2 were just a strange burst of skill, the one in Halo 3 was a proud moment for me, as it showed me that, although I was just really feeling it that time, I'm actually getting much better at multiplayer FPS's.
Yeah, sometimes heavy feels like E-Z mode, but you really need good positioning and game sense to play him well. Same goes for sniper. Sniper is fast becoming my second favourite class now. Headshotting scouts makes me feel warm and fuzzy. Or a medic that's trying to save using his uber and boom! Headshot! Ah...Serenegoose said:As much as the spy is in theory my favourite class, my natural talent lies with Heavy Weapons Guy and his delightful Sascha. I get so close every time. It's like something in my mind says 'NOOOOOOOOOO, YOU CAN'T! LET HIM KILL YOU!'
Sniper is by far my... 2nd least favourite class. Gutless... BUT - they can pull off some Epic kills.Outright Villainy said:Yeah, sometimes heavy feels like E-Z mode, but you really need good positioning and game sense to play him well. Same goes for sniper. On my current crappy laptop though I can't get a decent frame rate, which is pretty important for sniping.
Sad panda...
Ah... Actually reminds me of a time when I connected to a canadian server by accident, and everyone was really nice there. Took me a while to notice I had about 140-160 ping. You can make people rage playing as sniper though. Tee hee...Oliver Pink said:Negative. HA - Goldeneye 64 - the Granddaddy of great FPS.Captainguy42 said:Golden-Eye 64, we were playing a king of the hill style tournemant where there is a 1 on 1 death match, loser switches out. My older brother (he was 13 I was 8) was decimating everyone, and then I come on. He has the moon-raker, and body armor, me? Nada, so I do the thing any reasonable man would do, Slap the sunavabitch to death. The look on the face of my brother and his friends was priceless.
