My proudest moment would have to be the very first time I successfully installed a mod, granted it was on Mount and Blade and mods for that game are baby steps easy to install, but I was proud nonetheless.
It's like "YES - THIS GAME IS NOW ONE STEP CLOSER TO PERSONAL PERFECTION!"

Completing my Pokedex in the original Yellow...

I must have been what, 8 at the time? Oh the hours I put into that tiny yellow cartridge.

Going 50 something and something less than ten (I forget it's been a while!) with akimbo rafficas on Terminal. It was pure "rape" because before the game someone was smack talking us saying "I'm going to fuckin' mess you guys up! You hear me!" Also I got an AC-130 in less than 2 mins. of gameplay on that map.

The time I first finished a whole game of Silent Hunter by myself. This was back in DOS days. I was so proud of myself!

When I finaly won all 16 of the races in the All Cup Tour, on 150cc in Mario Kart Double Dash.

Took a lot 0f 15-1 tours though. The worst was the time that I won the first 15 races, only to come in 2nd on the last race.

My greatest moment in gaming... hmmm... What would that be...

Probably the day they coined the kinda short-lived, but still brought up phrase: If Kael can do it, DON'T EVEN TRY!!!

I managed to get through one part of the Gears of War night level on Co-op where two propane tanks were hidden behind some barricades. We couldn't see them, so I said "F*** it, i'm goin through." My buddy started saying i wouldn't make it... And low and behold, I survived! He then promptly tried to do the same... And got turned into Krill-fodder :p

Pretty certain that completing the Pokedex in Any of those games is a monumental achievement.

idk why it sticks out in my head so clearly...but i was playing socom with my dad back in the day vs. his clan, and i was the last one alive vs 5 of his clan members, and they are talkin to him on the phone sayin "blah blah no chance" and i go parkour style jumpin over a bridge down the hill killing two with my silenced m4a1 on the way down, i do a dropshot on the next guy who turns around by then, and then i go fast and lay a claymore down on the dead body so it blends in and run for the stairwell to hide and watch, the two other guys come running around the valleyside and come towards the dead...KABOOOM! they go fuckin flying with a double kill and i won =] my dad was laughin so hard and you could hear em screamin over the phone and my dad just smiled and said good job, i was so damn happy and proud lol. (i was 9 at the time too so to have my dad compliment me i felt like king of the fucking world)

I thought beating him in Kingdom Hearts 2 would be just as satisfying... but I felt that he was way easier this time around.
Ugh, he totally got nerfed in KH2. I was so saddened by that.

OT: My proudest moment is making no-kill runs through Metal Gear Solid 1-4 in roughly four days' time. I wasn't working then though... but I still managed not to kill a single enemy in any of the games :)

I probably have more proud moments than this one, but this is the one I remember the clearest.

It was a slow day over the summer and I got a steam message from a friend that they needed a 4th for their L4D2 round, and they were already halfway through the map (Hard Rain 2). When I joined the game, they were getting curb stomped. The score was something like 1200 to 100. I still don't know exactly how I did it, but the craziest thing started happening. We didn't just start fighting back, we started winning. I somehow managed to bring us back.
By the end of the match, it came down to the finale. We were slightly ahead, so we went first, with only one of us making it to the rescue boat. Then came their turn. They had one guy that, no matter what we did, we just couldn't kill. Eventually, I got the message that I was about to become the final tank of the round. The only problem was, I spawned all the way across the map, and he was standing in the boat area. If he and the 2 guys he was with made it on, we were done for. So I took the one dumpster in the entire level and whacked it randomly at them. Over the building, it hit all 3 of them, game over. We won by 1 point. I think I still have that screenshot somewhere...

Other than having house rules apply to me and ONLY ME EVERY TIME I PLAY 007 Goldeneye 64 (a few examples are: It has to be three on one, with me as the one, I'm not allowed to run for body armor, if I get the golden gun, I have to stay IN THE ROOM with the golden gun at ALL TIMES and cant run out to kill them, that sort of thing)?

Well, if it's OTHER than that, I'd have to say: I was 5 years old, and I beat the Robotnik in Green Hill Zone (Sonic the Hedgehog, for those that DONT know). May not seem like much to SOME, but at the time, it was a MAJOR thing for me! I was so proud of myself!

Either 100% Zelda Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask (got the last bits on both in the same day)
Getting the "Zombie Genocider" Achievement in Dead Rising
Three-Heart Run for Zelda OoT, MM, and TP
or Beating Super Metroid on the SNES

one of those xD
