OT: I figure there are only two things in your life that you can control: Your ability to be on time, and your integrity. I mean, if you have no integrity, what do you have?
Your ability to be one time!

On topic, never do today what you can get someone else to do tomorrow.

Seeing as both my personality and way of living have changed almost drastically over the years, all I can think of is "Don't take the Lord's name in vain"

That's about it, although nowadays I tend to be much kinder and such.

Since the age of 16 I've lived by Fascist ideals.
And how's that going for you?
Good actually.
Seeing as I rarely have to use them outside political situations.
And we're talking proper, dictator-upholding, Social-Darwinism-endorsing fascism here? Well, to each their own, I guess.

Sorry, I find that hard to believe. First, because I'm not convinced at 16 you could articulate them, and would be slightly surprised if you could now.

Ironically, refusing to vote would constitute upholding the political tenants of fascism.

So I'm unintentionally fascistic? Damn, I am good.

Demented Teddy said:
Yes.
We are talking authoritarian, nationalistic, corporatist fascism.
Well, (assuming you're American) since that isn't going to happen, I guess it's grand that you hold those views. I definitely wouldn't agree with them, but there are a lot of things I don't agree with.

Think first, then act later. sometimes instincts override this in some situations but if I can help it I always think things over before I act.

Errm...I've lived by a school my entire life. And have always lived by the code of 'video games are awesome'. I went through some radical changes in terms of ideals a few years ago, so I can't really say any of those have been constant. "Don't be a dick" I guess?

I follow the rule that the world screws 98% of the population over everyday through random events, they may be small or big, but whatever it is, get over it and roll with the punches. Work around the problems and enjoy the simple pleasures of the everyday.

Meh, why is everyone hard on the Fascist? If we could just get it to work without it being related to terrible war crimes then everyone would love it. Not that it's happening any time soon, but still. (Just think! A world without idiot politicians!)

Try to be nice. Try to be tolerant. If you fail then who could blame you?

Ah Christ, that just ruined my day. I was kinda hoping the Irish contingent on this site didn't hold views like that. Ah well, at least we don't have other politically extreme philosophies knocking about.

Also, never say never, our day may come again, after all there are lots of tricks for destroying democracy, even using it against itself.
Dude, you are aware that the Irish would revolt if you tried to bring a dictator to power? Remember how the English tried to whole "absolute control" policy? If you do, then perhaps you'll recall the results? You seem fairly young, so maybe the idea of fascism in Ireland will make less sense when you have to think about all that it entails.

Take care of things as they come. Plans generally don't work out as you originally envisioned, so might as well as get some experience improvising.
