Thus Spoke Zarathustra by Nietzsche and The Prince by Machiavelli. Well, I'd like to think I'm enough of a literate (and narcissistic/evil) snob anyway...

Oh, thanks. Yeah, I just assumed those were both directed at me, so I got a bit defensive. Sorry about that. XDfeather240 said:Oh, that second part was completely separate. I think you're nice and tolerant. I agree with you for the most part too.
Intelligence is not the only defining factor in good leadership. In order for a fascist government to work, you would need a leader who is kind, intelligent, perceptive, and completely uncompromising. Those traits do not go together well.Kiwibloke said:Yes, the leader would probably possess some flaws and inevitably mistakes would be made. However, consider this: wouldn't there be a greater quantity of mistakes made by a government which is ruled by the ignorant majority?bobknowsall said:People are flawed, and you cannot have a perfect political system if it is in the hands of an imperfect being. If you find that imperfect being, I am all for fascism. Until then, I'm sticking with what we've got. It's not perfect either, but at least it won't cause civil war or rebellion.
No fascism isn't perfect, but in my opinion under an intelligent leader, fascism is the best form of government.
Buddy, as of World War II, I think it's impossible to legitimately believe in 'fascist ideals' without simply branding yourself a naive controversialist with delusions of grandeur.Demented Teddy said:Since the age of 16 I've lived by Fascist ideals.
