Thus Spoke Zarathustra by Nietzsche and The Prince by Machiavelli. Well, I'd like to think I'm enough of a literate (and narcissistic/evil) snob anyway...

Mr. Nice Guy as stated before in these posts as well as (duh da da duh) Procrastination, because being able to do a paper with less than an hour till class and make it look like it took all those weeks it was assigned isn't just a handy skill...

Errm...I've lived by a school my entire life. And have always lived by the code of 'video games are awesome'. I went through some radical changes in terms of ideals a few years ago, so I can't really say any of those have been constant. "Don't be a dick" I guess?

Well, other than living by my new code of "PhunkyPhazon has the greatest avatar EVER.".

Politically I lean more towards a sort of mish-mash of Fascist and Socialist ideals, which I could compare to something, but I'm not by any stretch White Supremacist, nor do I want more Lebensraum, so I'll just stop there.

My personal creed is about more traditional values mixed with modern philosophy, I simultaneously believe in chivalry and courtship, and truly equal rights and more peaceful forms of conflict resolution.

I'm also Catholic, so there you go.

Oh, that second part was completely separate. I think you're nice and tolerant. I agree with you for the most part too.
Oh, thanks. Yeah, I just assumed those were both directed at me, so I got a bit defensive. Sorry about that. XD

Everything changes

My ideals change almost every year, so that's the only thing that has stuck with me.

I always strive to be a reasonable, enlightened, respectable guy. But besides that.....

Hope for the best, expect the worst.

People are flawed, and you cannot have a perfect political system if it is in the hands of an imperfect being. If you find that imperfect being, I am all for fascism. Until then, I'm sticking with what we've got. It's not perfect either, but at least it won't cause civil war or rebellion.
Yes, the leader would probably possess some flaws and inevitably mistakes would be made. However, consider this: wouldn't there be a greater quantity of mistakes made by a government which is ruled by the ignorant majority?

No fascism isn't perfect, but in my opinion under an intelligent leader, fascism is the best form of government.
Intelligence is not the only defining factor in good leadership. In order for a fascist government to work, you would need a leader who is kind, intelligent, perceptive, and completely uncompromising. Those traits do not go together well.

Democracy is inefficient, but democracy with a bad leader does not screw up as badly as fascism with a bad leader. This has been proven many, many times (if you're willing to count certain civilizations as proto-fascists).

Do not engage a plan unless you're sure it will work. Do not leave any large flaws in the plan unless you're about to die and don't have enough time to think them through.

Buddy, as of World War II, I think it's impossible to legitimately believe in 'fascist ideals' without simply branding yourself a naive controversialist with delusions of grandeur.

Its better to go do something and then ask for forgiveness later rather than miss out on something

Lemmie start by saying, Haseo21 I respect you for using Vash the Stampede as your avatar, he's fucking awesome.

Now on to the topic, what I have lived by my entire life (as long as I can remember I had something to live by), is "Life's a ***** and then you die". It's my father's old catch phrase, course I'm also thinking about changing it to "Life's a ***** and then you drop fucking dead". You could say at this point I'm living for the end, because that is all I truly want to know. Everyone says it's like falling asleep and never waking up. I say bullshit, there has to be something more, and I'm livin' to find out more before I'm thrust into it.
Side note: Because I said this I'll probably be murdered on my way home tonight, would be my luck.

"I'm here, so is this situation, I guess I'll deal with it as best I can."

I plan ahead on stuff I need to, but for the most part, life is a rather beautyful chaos.

My whole life? Nothing. The majority of my beliefs and personal philosophy have changed over the years simply because I've developed as a person and found my previous assertions to be obsolete and foolish.

As for the ones I've kept the longest and believed in the most: Materialism is attempting to take the easy path to happiness by paving it with trinkets; Appearance, while somewhat important, is nothing without a good mind and personality to power it; Contentment and experience are the measure of a man's success, not wealth or glory; Find the little things in life; find life in the little things; Love is an ideal, but an attainable one; Spontaneity keeps the world from going grey; Do what you want to, and to hell with anyone that says you can't; The best offense is a good defense, a good defense is not fighting in the first place.

There are likely a good many more, but I don't really have them written down.
