It wouldn't change that much. Guys have their lurking sites and girls have theirs. As for the porn thing, no way would there be less porn. There would probably be more, as girls wouldn't have to hide their yaoi as much. I think your internet is safe for now guys =p
My sister has a badge with that word on it, I didn't know what it meant so I googled it. So disturbing...

Funny how most people on this website seem to think the internet only consists of gaming related websites, other places with nerds repeating shitty memes, facebook and porn.

There are websites for basically everything you can think of, and there is already a fairly equal female-male ratio around the net. The majority just don't go to the same sites you do. Do a google search sometime for a forum related to a hobby that is seen as more gender-neutral. I was on an active cooking forum the other day asking for advice on a recipe I was trying and the females on there basically outnumbered the males 100 to 1. Your nerdy corners of the internet make up less than a quarter of what the internet consists of.

Also, PLENTY of women like porn. It's just that most is geared more toward guys because the MAJORITY porn watchers are men (same as the majority of gamers are men so games are often geared towards guys) and lot of women feel somewhat alienated. So the whole "there would be no porn" thing people are spouting is bull. Women enjoy sex too, you know?

It would be slightly cleaner on the internet. But almost everything would be aimed for girls only. A lot of social networking and blogs and the such I guess.
I'm not sure if it would be cleaner.....

o wo; ;

I also think I'd dislike it more. Guys are /usually/ less dramatic and bitchy. But I dunno. Let's hope it doesn't happen. xP

Exactly the same. Gender doesn't matter too much when you're anonymous. Honestly, I don't even know if most of the people on the internet are guys. It's quite possible that there are more girls. Isn't the world's population, like, 51% female? Yet if you're on a site targeted towards a mostly male demographic, it will look skewed.

if it was the other way around males would be harassed by hundreds of female nerds for them to date them. in other words, a paradise for males.
You wish. The fact that we have a finer appreciation of computer games/anime/whatever other nerdy pursuits we follow (I choose obsolete computer systems) doesn't change the fact that most of us aren't all that attractive, either in a physical or intellectual sense. It would be nice to see it the other way around, but I can't see it happening.
We have a winner. More girls on the internet won't make them more interested on the guys on the internet. That would require a restructuring of the part of a girl's mind that deals with what she finds attractive.
