I find it hard-to-believe that most Internet users are undoubtedly male as it is. Because the Internet is a big, big place and different sites serve different interests, naturally one's individual perspective is bound to to be highly subjective in this regard.
So, instead, lets say, "what if the Internet were female-dominated?" In other words, the ladies were running the show on the Internet at every turn.
I have negative presumptions about the scenario given that I've worked in primarily women-dominated jobs and found that they've become pretty matriarchies where you're perpetually living in the middle of a gossip-mill and your presence is hanging by the thread of their willingness to tolerate the fact that you're a man in their midst. Should you fail to live up to their ambiguous expectations, they'll circulate a plausible lie about you, and you're exiled shortly afterward.
But it could just be that I've had bad luck in this regard and the women I were dealing with were considerably less professional than the usual lot.
