There would probably be more yaoi then your typical porn, so... basically not much of a difference.

First off, this article is relevant to the thread.

But seriously, I don't think it would change at all. The GIFT is gender neutral.

I find it amusing that you seem to think that the stuff you like comprises "the internet" - trust me, there's a whole lot more out there than just gaming sites and forums - and that women apparently don't like porn.

Women use the internet for more than just Facebook. Get a clue.

There would probably be an internet in-joke that goes something like:

"lol theres no menz on teh interwebz!"

There would probably be more female-oriented stuff too. But I haven't actually gotten any kind of demographics as to how many women are on the internet, or how they use it. So, that's about all I have.

I find it hard-to-believe that most Internet users are undoubtedly male as it is. Because the Internet is a big, big place and different sites serve different interests, naturally one's individual perspective is bound to to be highly subjective in this regard.

So, instead, lets say, "what if the Internet were female-dominated?" In other words, the ladies were running the show on the Internet at every turn.

I have negative presumptions about the scenario given that I've worked in primarily women-dominated jobs and found that they've become pretty matriarchies where you're perpetually living in the middle of a gossip-mill and your presence is hanging by the thread of their willingness to tolerate the fact that you're a man in their midst. Should you fail to live up to their ambiguous expectations, they'll circulate a plausible lie about you, and you're exiled shortly afterward.

But it could just be that I've had bad luck in this regard and the women I were dealing with were considerably less professional than the usual lot.

Women passed men on the internet in 2008. There where a bunch of stories about it at the time it was shown, but here is a link to the first one I happened to find. [http://technology.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/tech_and_web/the_web/article3511863.ece]

I think there would be slightly less porn, and everyone would be more mature. The handwriting would be better too
I have exceptional handwriting skills and I'm male. I just tend to write very small unless I make an effort otherwise and the average height of a capital letter (for example) is roughly 2/3 the height of a single line of college rule paper.
Yeah so thereofre you have "substandard" handwriting. Like me. And all my friends. I said that because every guy I know has bad to horrible handwriting. And some of the girls I know have decent handwriting

There would far, far more Cat websites.

Also, there would be some kind of chat room service on EVERY site. Forums? Nay, Sir. Chat. Ughhhh...
