What if you could play a game with the protagonist from another?

Spider-Man in a Devil May Cry game would rock. Same with Zero, or Darth Revan. This thread reminded me of a sweet flash game I came across.

Ryu Hayabusa, Simon Belmont, Bill Rizer, Mega Man, and a few other classic NES game heroes in Super Mario Bros.? Awesome. Surprisingly, Mario isn't as underpowered as you might think, seeing as how he's the only character who can sprint (and also jump while sprinting). And each character is true to their original gameplay (Bill can change directions mid-jump but can't stop moving, just like in Contra, Simon can't do either, and Mega Man can do both).

If the shooting mechanic from Leon in RE was tied to him as a protagonist, and you threw him in L4D, he'd be dead in two seconds from having to stand still while he shoots. xDTriggerHappyAngel said:

Assassin's Creed (II/Bro) as a Pokemon Trainer. You could like, select different Pokemon instead of weapons. Or you could call them like Assassin Recruits.
