I enjoy Gaga's music. I don't find her deep, or meaningful, or life changing. Nope, it's just that she can actually sing worth a damn and her music is fun, and that's good enough for me. I mean, why ***** about her when there's so, so much worse to bash on? Ever listen to Ke$ha? HAVE YOU? HAVE YOU?!

WHY. WHY IS SHE ALIVE.

This is what "The Fame" does to you. You need to market yourself as X, and exploit people's wants and desires. Nobody wants Stefani Germonotta singing dingy, slightly soulful pop tunes with a strange case of common visual image. People want something new; a la Lady GaGa. She can be OTT with her outfits because "The Fame" allows her to. She can embody her own edgy, completely insane vision because The Fame demands it and supplies her with a platform, to appear completely "crazy" to the world. In "The Fame" she was but a vaguely dry, sultry and edgy yet addictive pop muscisian, in the Fame Monster she has become the embodient of how fame can become the "Monster" of people's lives. She twists her own cooky style out, she becomes a heightened version of "herself" while still embodying the strain of fame and everything she sung about in her original album; everything she wanted to achieve. How the fame has demanded her to become this image; in a kind of twsited manner saying how the fame has supplied her with the creativity and platform to become her owj idealised image, yet saying it's also highly demanding and has vast side effects.

She wants to appear absolutely bizzare with her outfits to embody the voices of those still repressed by most of society today; hence the large gay fan base (a la one's self), she wants to be herself and intends to allow everyone else to bask in the knowledge that someone can do that, and someone can overtake the legions of plastic hoe bags being churned out a a hundred a minute by mainstream music. That "they" don't have to be what "society" demands; that someone, somewhere has made a voice for the "coo coo" and "crazy" of society. She isn't entirely mad, to the point where she has the mentally deranged stalking her. She's edgy, she IS the voice to the people, as mentioned before. She isn't cheesy, she's daring enough to be herself; not arrogant, not manufactured and plastic, not austere enough to alienate fans. She isn't "un genuinely" (or false) loving towards her fans, in my eyes, she cares.

I find an image in her that guides people's passions to do more than become a typical celebrity in typical society. She is the progression forward. She has the power to change and drive society, even people, yet she isn't high enough to be a high class bint that milks people purely for the money. She is society. She represents high class, cutting edge lifestyle and fashion, yet still allows the image of care and "common relatability" to pervade.

I frigging adore Lady GaGa.

My guess would be some kind of chemical or nuclear accident somehow involving glitter.

I like Lady Gaga. I do, I truly do .I fucking love her music. Now, each to their own of course, I realise I'm a rarity in this part of the web, but still, I think she is an amazing singer, I love her songs, and I don't actaully watch her videos or look at pics of her, so I don't care about how she looks. All I know is I love her music. Like I said, this is my opinion, not yours, nor do I think everyone should agree.

Also, also, I do get quite a strong hint of irony from her, could all be in my head though.
Oh man, I think that's extremely wishful thinking. Then again, it's hard to fathom her transformation without irony. Assuming we can rule out any significant head trauma, of course.
