What is a game you were surprised you hated?

Are there any games that you thought would be really fun, but then you ended up HATING it?

for me that game would actually be Gears of War 2, the online got me pissed, especially with the lag, but I here they patched some of it. They still didn't patch the goddamn chainsaw though!

KOTOR 2 frm when i realised u weren't reven i really just hated it

that and Gears of war 1+2 for the online play as well

Oh and Cock of duty 5 the hype for it and it ended up being absaloutly rubbish

CnC Red Alert 3. I like building nice bases in Yuri's Revenge, but RA3's 'support powers'are just too cheap.

Warcraft 3.

I felt it was a huge let down after the fun that was starcraft and Warcraft 2. Bloody Heros. Ruined the RTS part of it.

Mirror's Edge. I'm a Parkour nut, so I thought it'd be fun. But no. I did the training section, and put it down, and went back to playing Little Big Planet.

Incidentally, a few hours later, I also realised I hated Little Big Planet, due to the ridiculous amount of stupid roaming the online levels.

Both KOTOR games I can't stand, thought I'd love them.

Also Fallout 3, I don't exactly hate it but I was looking forward to it, and it dissapointed me.

I never really hate games, but several have dissapointed me. Mass Effect is one of them. Yes I enjoyed it a lot, but I expected much much more after hearing all it's praises. I'm glad to hear that Mass Effect 2 will probably fix the things I disliked most.
Also Assassin's Creed. I enjoyed it for a while, and when I climbed to the highest point of Jerusalem (I wasn't playing for that long by that time) I thought by myself "Oooo I will have an awesome time with this game." Well, sadly, turned out I didn't so much. Just too repetative.
O and Spore ofcourse, but I think I was un top of cloud nine while waiting for it to release, after seeing all those video's and discussing the game. When I got it...such a shame.

Recently, Legends of Wrestling. I'm not far of the "sport" but I did enjoy the Smackdown vs. Raw games quite a bit. I just don't get why they had to turn this game into an all out "Quick-Time Eventfest".

Halo 2+3.... I was disappointed that they crapped up the story in both of them, made them easier than the last, and appealed solely to the multiplayer audience. That hurt, Bungie. That really hurt...
