I thought Brawl would be great until I noticed they fucked everything up! I mean everything that was great about the game. No way some new features will make up for the shitty gameplay.

Same goes for Mario Kart Wii and Tiberium Wars.

Bionic Commando, the demo sold me and then when I got the game and played it I was just bored and annoyed that your this bionically enhanced war hero and everything... but water kills you? Powerful arm, cant use it to do a doggy paddle though.

Legendary, it outright sucked, but the cover looked cool.

Fallout 3, I'm such a massive oblivion fan but this game wasn't what I was looking for in the way of entertainment.

Do not get me started on Spore....

Soul Calibur IV. I love the series, but this game has what is quite possibly the worst single player mode in the history of anything, ever.

LIVE matches are good though, with little to no lag.

I had a profound dislike for Force Unleashed. Despite containing lightsabers and forcepowers, it still aggravated me.

Moreover, I should have loved Dead Rising for its hilarious improvised armoury, brilliant setting and zombies, but I could feel the taint of Capcom all over it and that made me want to vomit.

Wow and the Mirror's Edge demo. I was expecting full freedom but it was still pretty linear.

Edit: Fable 2.

Mass Effect, I just didn't think it worked too well.
Same. That or Alone in the Dark. I know everybody else hated that, but I actually enjoyed it, I just found it to be a bit "one step forward, two steps back" if you know what I mean.

Devil May Cry 4, so utterly boring and i got tired of fighting the same monsters over and over if i accidently fell of a ledge to the lower floor, aswell as performing countless combos to deal hardly any damage at all. BLEHHHHHHh

Fable 2 did surprise me, I didn't hate it but it had NOTHING on Fable 1
Also honorary mention goes to Half Life 2, again I didn't hate it but it was less then the prodical son of games that everyone made it out to be.
I was surprised by my hatred of Turok though as I like dinosaurs. But no there was just too much to compain about.

Yes. The characters seemed almost like Street Fighter anime renders instead of the fairly realistic character models of SCII.

Soul Calibur II on the GC (because of Link) is my favourite arcade-style fighter.

Fable II definitely. I really couldn't get into the combat system and the story didn't strike me as that compelling either. I did come back to it a few months later to try again but I just could not get into it.

Mass Effect was also a big disappointment for me. I thought the story was way too short and there was a lot of boring planets that looked the same.
