I don't hate them but I was really disappointed in them:

Mirrors edge, bugger all story and too much dying.

Fable 2, it had nothing on fable 1.

Halo wars, I played through the campaign, I enjoyed the cinematics but when I finished and played a few skirmishes against the AI I just though, "what the hell?" it was boring and really my only option was filling the screen with units and then obliterating everything else on the map.

Dead Rising. Its a game about killing zombies, how could I possibly hate it. But alas, bad controls and lack of quick-save ruined it for me.

Far Cry 2.

I really wanted to like it, I tried to like it, I was looking for anything that would live up to the promise it had shown in development... and then it turned out to be a steaming pile of, as Yahtzee might say, arse and chips.

I like chips, incidentally, but even the best chips can be ruined by poor accessorisation, but I'm getting off the point.

Anyway, yes. Far Cry 2. It was just bollocks in every way. (Except the graphics, which were almost as pretty as they'd said they would be.)

I was really surprised at how much I hated Splinter Cell Double Agent. Don't get me wrong its still a good game, it's just that Chaos Theory outshined it so much I really didn't like playing it. The first two splinter cells were awesome because of their relatively new gameplay,

Chaos Theory was amazing because it took all those unique gameplay elements and perfected them, but double agent... It sort of felt like they just took all the stuff they THOUGHT was good, and mixed it in with some trust system that IMO sucked balls, with basically little to no effect on actual gameplay besides "Oh you don't get this weapon or gadget"

I hated GTAIV.

I bought Bioshock recently and was somewhat disappointed. I enjoyed it, but everyone has it down as the most atmospheric and beautiful game ever and I just didn't see it. Theres no atmosphere to being cooped up under the sea.

Fable 2. I've come to the conclusion I only like RPGs if BioWare makes them (with the exception of Morrowind). I never played the first game, but was hoping for something expansive and immersive, and instead was bored to tears after playing 6 hours. I couldn't bring myself to finish or even keep it much longer. It got traded in fast.

And in the same vein, Oblivion. I loved Morrowind (as mentioned earlier), but thought this latest entry in the Elder Scrolls was horrid. Between a bland map, atrocious leveling system, flat NPCs, and a boring main quest...everything I loved about Morrowind was gone.

I'd lump Fallout 3 into big disappointments...but after Oblivion I wasn't expecting much from Bethesda, so it was no surprise to me when I thought they butchered the story of the original two games

Morrowind. I loved it back then, but since playing Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Mass Effect it just comes off as dull and lifeless.

Mass Effect, I just didn't think it worked too well.
This. What was it you didn't like about it? To me it was just too overwhelming, like they'd throw you into a massive city with little or no directions.
I didn't really like the combat, the story didn't exactly appeal to me either.
Yea the story shot itself in the foot for me far too often and became terribly predictable and just an overall "meh" experience.

Warcraft 3.

I felt it was a huge let down after the fun that was starcraft and Warcraft 2. Bloody Heros. Ruined the RTS part of it.
ummmm warcraft 2 better than 3? 3 is one of the best RTSes ever

I've heard a ton of good feedback about Condemned, so I tried it.
It was the biggest waste of time I've ever spent on a game.

Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, picked it up last week asfter hearing very good thins about it, just didn't seem all too good.
yes! G.R.A.W. and the sequel are terrible, the worst part is the delay between pulling the trigger and the weapon firing! who possibly thought that would be a good idea!?

medal of honour airbourne is pretty awful, but that wasnt much of a surprise.. where is the autosave?!?

and rainbow six vegas. just.. dreadful, i dunno where to begin with that.

i can actually summarise my hates by just saying that i hate all tom clany games, with the possible exception of endwar.

ALSO

halo 2 (PC), halo 3, and halo wars are all games i really liked playing the campaign through, the ozzingly gorgeous visuals and whatnot in 2 and 3 were really ahead of their time. halo wars was a good enough concept and played alright, despite being hampered by the console interface.

the trouble is, as soon as take them online all enjoyment is gone. being pitted against whiney, screetchy american pre pubescents time and again by the terribly made matchmaking slowly grates away at any sanity you have left followng the rage of being set against people with blatantly higher skill than yourself.
halo 2 pc is poorly concieved in having no matchmaking whatsoever, relying entirely on player built games - inevitable tanks swords and rockets, making it shamefully poor.
whilst the only thing that ever happens in halo wars is generating resources for half an hour before one player rushes the other with a huge force of building destroyers - THERE ARE NO TACTICS!!! its bloody rediculous.

all in all, the online play lets down 3 very good games
