Nope. Heart attacks are incredibly painful, and terrible to watch, no matter the circumstances. Anyone whose answer includes a heart attack deserves my scorn. (I have seen people die in heart attacks. Unexpected, terrifying, and you are basically helpless - other than CPR, which most likely won't be enough.)

So my answer is still the coolest way to go.

The only explosion is one of emotion in the room as the man passes on. Perhaps his family will explode into tears, or into revulsion at God/fate/chance. Its all rather irrelevant to
the man after he dies.

I like it, the only thing I would change would be that you are base-jumping off of the moon and after you land into the volcano, this happens

well then you would burn up on re-entry before you even got near the volcano
how about i jump out of a rocket as it goes past the first layer of the atmostphere.
then have special freworks that simulate red lightning, sence it would be near impossible to time the stunt with the weater.

You know what, jumping out of a rocket would be pretty badass. But even more awesome if it explodes after you jump out. and hell, even regular fireworks would look kool.

I was going to say: "Dying in battle against the forces of darkness" (Fantasy version, not actual ppl)

But i am willing to offer a real world version: Dying as a martyr that proves your political opponents to be under-handed, aggressive and ruthless, which increases support for your own political standpoint.

Personally, i just want to die peacefully in my sleep, when i am as old as my body can handle.
