My landlord has had his PS3 running for 6 months straight now, even when he goes away for a month he leaves it running. I'm amazed the thing hasn't overheated and actually is still working fine.

Trust me, as someone who has been around the world, I can safely say that there is a large amount of stupid British people and there is a large amount of stupid Americans. Neither country is ACTUALLY smarter.

Take the language moral high ground then. I understand why you might pull something like that out of there to make a 16 year old look stupid, I in fact was being civil and simply told you what you were saying was wrong. It is perfectly acceptable for language to change over time or even change from locations, but it can never simply be wrong, it always has to make sense. Earlier on you used sarcasm to make someone else look stupid, you also basically called yourself smart, im not even sure if what anything of what your saying does make you look smart as it all basically revolves around something that is wrong.

I was actually cracking up at the end when he brought up herbs, because that's always made me lol a little anyway.

The graph was funny, but I still think "could care less" works to a degree. I mean, I understand this is not the intent of the phrase, but I could easily see it eventually turning into a tongue in cheek sort of "I could care less (if you forced me to)." I don't if that explains what I'm trying to say, but before I started studying linguistics that was how I justified said phrase.

And it only took Tom, who by the way is a smart as fuck (which im going to assume means he is as smart as something even dogs know how to do), 5 or so replies before he valiantly fled this extremely weak argument.
