I cycle to the university and back pretty much every weekday. And it's uphill both ways. Well, only half of the trip in either direction, but still. I also cycle to anywhere else that isn't too far away.
I know it's not much, but at least I don't get exhausted after going uphill, like I used to. Obviously it's doing something.

I've never felt any need to excercise more than that. I'm not in that good shape, but I'm not overweight, and that's enough.

I take walks every now and then, and most nights before I go to sleep, I do about 20-25 push ups.

That's about it.

I walk very fast, often with heavy bags of shopping. And about 30 push-ups and 60 sit-ups a night. No issues keeping my weight down [metabolism does that for me], but I want muscles, damn it.

Wow this is so cool. I always thought Escapists weren't into exercise. Well, I like to run at least twice a week for around 8-10 kilometres, and I use my school's workout room to lift weights. Right now I do:
- 30 reps (each arm) of a 15lb dumbbell, then 20 with a 20lb dumbbell, then 10 with a 25lb. I do all this 3 times (3 sets)
- 4 sets of 10 reps (Tricep extensions) with 12lb dumbbells
- 4 sets of "curling to pressing" with a 25lb dumbble
- 4 sets of 30 Hamstring curls on a machine with the weight at 90lb
- 4 sets of 15 Tricep pull downs on a machine with the weight at 100lb.

and I do many other things, but I constantly change it up. I do much more when I have a "Fitness" class in a semester.

EDIT: Fixed.

I run for an hour (like 10 km) every other day and do a few strength exercises, mainly for my back, which is crooked.

Regular sex and the metabolism of a squirrel keep me in pretty good shape and allow me to eat anything I want. If I don't get any for the day, then I do some crunches, push-ups, and bicep/tricep curls before dinner.

Running long distance messed my left leg up, actually... I was doing 14 miles, three times a week back in 2003... Now I have a nice scar tissue bulge on my left achilles tendon, so I don't do that anymore. Also, I have a break in one of my lower vertebrae from performing combat movement while wearing a 120lb rucksack, so I don't do push-ups, sit-ups, or other such back-stressing exercises anymore. I still lift heavy things, though... just slowly and carefully.

Now I ride my bicycle daily, swim for an hour a few times a week, and do yard work (which, since I live in the middle of nowhere, tends to look something like this [http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n182/loc978/Photos/AMBA0093.jpg]). I'm certainly not in the best shape of my life at the moment, but it would still be a stretch to call me chubby. Oh, and I'm five-nine (on a day when my back straightens all the way), one-eighty (depending on what I had for breakfast), with a rather barrel-chested, nordic build (most of my male ancestors back before a certain point in history were vikings).

Well, I've been skipping it a lot lately, but normally it's 50 pushups, 50 situps, 50 free squats, and a 1.5-mile run. It's based on my Navy physical requirements. I at least get the pushups done every day.

Step 1: Get up from chair.
Step 2: Walk to fridge/cupboard.
Step 3: Pick up food item.
Step 4: Think to self, "I need more exercise".
Step 5: Use food item like weight for 30 second workout.
Step 6: Feel much better about myself.
Step 7: Go back to chair.

Repeat!

Cake/crisps for breakfast. Walk the 15 minutes walk to my lecture and smoke a cigarette. Smoke atleast 2 more before I do the 15 minute walk home again. Eat some crisps/chocolate. Make stupidly unhealthy dinner. Smoke some more. Got to bed and sleep for atleast 12 hours.

And I'm somehow still a UK dress size 6/8.

My old workout routine used to look like this:

Minimum 6 mi/day running
Minimum 4 mi/day swimming
1,000+ push-ups
1,000+ sit-ups
600+ pull-ups
Plus whatever else was on the schedule
That's 1000 pushups etc a week? Also I hope you get back in top shape again soon.

Friday is cardio day. I start with either running 20 or rope skipping for 15 minutes. 20 pushups wide, 20 small, some abs excersizes, a few dozen metres of 'frogging' or basically hopping along doing deep continues kneebends and then punching practise using elastic bands to improve the speed and stamina of that.
Saturday is endurance day. Starting with a little stretching, again 20/20 pushups but now two sets of the, same abs, and after that I practise on the heavy bag. First generally, then specific combinations, then ussually kicking for endurance and power. Occasionally I replace the bag with an old car tire I found in the trash, or more recently ducttape a flimsy piece of wood over the side of the bag for leg endurance. The idea is to harden your shins and make you used to pain there, because without that, you're pretty much going to get schooled in kickboxing in any match outside the Newcomer's Class (where they often still wear shin protectors).
I might steal what you do for Friday, although I'm going to add more to it, and I don't box so..

That's a good idea for weight lifting days, although I'm going to have to mix it up more; I heard that if you work the same body part out every time that your body gets too used to the motion, and you actually are gaining muscle or anything.

I'm 6'1" 155 as well, but I used to weigh more two and a half months ago. I lost a lot of weight (this is a bad thing imo, I want to weigh more not less, but because of muscle, not fat) though the past 80 days.

Workout regime. HA HA HA HA....Oh wait your serious.

OT: Yeeah all I really do is cycle to and from College. About 10 minutes each way 4 days a week.
I'm also a bit fidgety which I'm guessing burns off some stuff. I also commonly act through ideas I have for stories I may write, actually acting it out physically. That'll burn off something.

I'm planning on going for walks or runs when I get older.

I go to gym twice a week in the mornings for a full cardio/weights program then when im not at gym i take a ball into the park and chase it around like an excitable dog because its much more interesting than plain running :D
