Ha.

Haha.

HAHAHAHA!

Me? Work out? Exercise? BAH! That's a ridiculous notion. The only exercise I get is walking to and from school and occasionally biking places on the weekends but those are purely for journey methods.

And i'm still a skinny bastard, thank you high metabolism!

It's called the warehouse program. Here's what you do, apply for a job at a warehouse, if you get it, you will eat smaller meals since you can't work on a full stomach and you will lose somewhere between 20 and 30 pounds in about 6 months. I've only been there about a month and a half and I've already lost 10 pounds, which sucks because now my pants don't fit.

Monday- Squats, Bench, Bent over Row

Wednesday- Deadlift, Up Right Row, Wide Grip Pull ups

Friday - Squats, Shoulder Press, Dips

4 weeks 5 Reps 5 Sets

2 Weeks 3 Reps 3 Sets

1 week acheiving 1 Rep Maxs

Light week then Rinse and Repeat.

Compound Exercises FTW.

EDIT: Just to verify I do some Isolation Exercises as well but very basic things like Barbell Curls , Hammer curls etc. But the exercises listed above are my Main Strength builders as Isolation Exercises don't build strength.

I just get up and go. Go running for as long as I can, making sure to time myself. Normally I run about 1K everyday, trying to break my records. Nothing much besides that really. I really like running fast.

I walk a couple of miles every weekday to and from school is my only real amount of exercise. I eat a lot of food but it's all healthy.

I guess I'm a bit tubby, but nothing to complain about.

I walk/jog with my dog for 3-5 miles a day. So on average I get 30 miles of cardio a week.

I also do about 50 pull-ups a day (not in a row, just over the course of a day).
Are you hoping to build muscle? If so, thats counter productive.
How so?
Pretty sure that if your muscles go through the same motion every day, then pretty soon it is muscle memory, and you aren't going to get anything out of it. It's possible to lose muscle since they aren't being stressed that way.

try pullups day 1, chest/back/pushups day 2, leg lifts/bicep curls day 3, then pullups day 4

something LIKE that, but probably not that. I'm not a great workout guru, and in fact I've changed my old routine quite a bit since I made this thread based on what others have said (also that guy who was in the military made me sad... 1000 push-ups a day makes me look pathetic in every sense of the word).

I just try to go for a run every other day and I hit the gym 3-4 days a week. Nothing insane, just enough to keep in shape.

Ah, I see what you mean. I haven't been doing the pull-up as often lately (and actually, for a month or so I only did a dozen or so pull-ups two days a week due to basement flooding and re-carpeting). I'm not exactly consistent.

Also, 50 sets of 20 push-ups in a day? Challenge accepted. Tomorrow will be interesting.

Monday afternoons, generally a two, three kilometre jog.
Wednesday nights, an eight kilometre run/jog.
Friday afternoons (sometimes :p): same as monday.
Sunday (time varies): run around my neighbourhood for forty minutes, or so.

Basically all my exercise revolves around the orienteering I do on Wednesday nights, so if I stop that, I'm probably screwed. :p

I've started running again. A couple of miles a week, nothing spectacular, but it's got me feeling better about myself. Add in the laborous yardwork and renovations I'm doing on the weekends, and I've started getting more fit. But the beer probably isn't helping much.

I dont have much of one until intramural hockey starts. Then I buckle down with my team and we really get into it. Weights on ankles and wrists, wearing goalie equipment the entire practice, speed skating with sheets tied to us to create drag, skating into those things they use in (american) football that people run into and push, firing shots at targets at different ranges and of different sizes, firing shots walls just as an effort to get it to give, playing until you feel like throwing up and passing out and then playing some more, playing in both heavy heavy layers and in very light layers, the occasional padless practice.

...

it gets ugly fast really, but the team Im on is one of the better ones. we're far and away the leaders in stamina, hardest shot, speed, and goal scoring. And we're not afraid to take a penalty or block a shot if it comes down to it.

Cardio on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Then weights on Tuesday and Thursday. Saturday and Sunday are off. I doubt this is the most efficient training ever. And the cardio is usually only ~30 minutes of running. Because I know nothing about exercise except what I get through self-research. And I've read that any more than 30 minutes and you're not really making much progress - declining returns and what-not. ALSO, I get bored working out alone after a point; if it was a bit warmer outside, or I was a bit less of a pussy (it's been sticking to an average of -20F or worse so far - had a nice week of -45F and worse), I'd probably run outside.

Also, school throws that schedule all to hell. I've started trying to force myself to go regardless of work load; keep in health even if it costs me a grade. But then, I'm beginning to think that's just me subconsciously adding yet another way to procrastinate doing homework. God damn myself - I'm too clever for my own good.

Well I bike everyday and I work out every third day. It has become increasingly difficult to work my arms without proper weights, but I haven't gotten around to buying any yet.

As Logicul has said, muscles getting used to it is one thing. The bigger problem is your muscles getting no rest. Muscles need a few days rest between workouts, doing pullups every day would prevent them from building. Try doing them twice a week, say Monday and Friday, or Sunday and Thursday, or whenever, as long as you give your back 3 days rest at minimum.
