Well, my two all time favorite movie quotes comes from either Polish film or from Polish translation of a film, so I'll go with my recent fav:

"You mustn't be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling."

From Inception, of course.

a while ago i heard this quote on the radio it was played as an intro to a song,
it seemed to be a movie from the 40s/50s/60s by the sound of the recording, it was a guy ranting about how we hear on the news people have been murdered and were just supposed to accept it and problems with the world etc, i cant for the life of me find this quote anywhere does anyone have any ideas what its off?

I know it's been mentioned before, but whatevs.

"ENGLISH, ************, DO YOU SPEAK IT?!"

Also,

"Crush your enemies, see them driven before you and hear the lamentation of the women."

And, just for good measure, because it's definitely one of the better-known ones,

"THIS. IS. SPARTA."

"I'm a lead farmer, muthafucka!" - Robert Downey Jr. as Kirk Lazarus/Lincoln Osiris in Tropic Thunder (2007)

Oh, here's another one. The Breakfast Club. John Bender's impression about Brian's father.

Bender - "Well Brian, this is a very nutritious lunch, all the food groups are represented. Did your mom marry Mr. Rogers?"

Brian - "Uh, no, Mr. Johnson"

Bender - My impression of life at Big Bri's house, "Son?" "Yeah, Dad?" "How was your day, son?" "Great, Dad. How's yours?" "Super. Say, how would like to go fishing this weekend?" "Great, Dad. But I got homework to do." "That's okay, son. You can do it on the boat." "Gee." "Hon, isn't our son swell?" "Yes, dear. Isn't life swell?"

That or pretty much the whole film of Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigalo.

Pretty much everything Samuel L. Jackson says in Pulp Fiction. Especially the "English mother fucker, do you speak it?" Scene.

OT: "I'm here to kick ass and chew gum, and I'm all out of gum." It was in a movie before Duke said it, look it up.
Was that the one with Rowdy Roddy Piper?
"PUT ON THE GLASSES!"
"NEVER!"

"Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn."
- Alfred, The Dark Knight

"GET TO DA CHOPPAAA!"

Also: "You're born, you take shit. You get out in the world, you take more s**t. You climb a little higher, you take less shit. Till one day you're up in the rarefied atmosphere and you've forgotten what shit even looks like.

Welcome to the Layer Cake son."
