Demon's Souls ain't so bad. It's like Megaman. Remember placement and enemy spawns, and you'll do fine.

It's a close three-way tie between Maniac mode of Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, Hector Hard mode of Fire Emblem 7, and Hard mode of Fire Emblem: Sword of Seals. Absolutely brutal, all three of them.
...Maybe I'm just not the best at them, but FE games' hardmodes are HARD.
Drakengard is also rather difficult if you don't grind levels and weapons.
I haven't played Demons' Souls yet, but I really want to, seeing as I'm a fan of soul-crushing difficulty.

I got it on the 28th of December.
It is a difficult game, but once you know where enemies are and what their attacks are like, it isn't as difficult.
And the bosses...

An obvious one but ninja gaiden 2 on the hardest difficulty. It became stressful to the point of spastic arm flailing and seizures

Depends. If you define hard as having to die repetitively in order to memorize combos, spawns, etc... Probably one of the Ninja Giadens.
If by, actual puzzle solving and thinking I'd say Portal - sure it was funny, but the gravity puzzles were actually fun to think through and try to beat on one go.

I can't remember the name of the ring, but you get more Demon's Souls while wearing it.
I'm glad that I didn't buy it. I found it a little bit later on a dead body!
It was one I didn't beat. After hours of trying to get through the part where the japanese with Type 100 hide behind barrels in a cave and aim for the entrance, I just gave up.Onyx Oblivion said:
