"Gazebo."

Your head says "guh-zee-bow" but your eyes say "gaze-bow."

"Schedule."

Your head says "sked-joo-uhl" but your eyes say "Skeh-doo-lee."

Apophthegm: A blunt remark or comment.
Defenestration: The act of someone or something being thrown through a window.

I happen to adore that last one. =D

Also, perinium.......let's just say it's a body part...

hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia-the fear of long words. It's so redundant because you can't say it if you have it.
IIRC, that's actually just a joke. It's not an official word.

'Wayzegoose'. Also, 'obligated'; it sounds like a lazy, Americanized, made-up way of saying 'obliged' but apparently it's a real word.

Consternate/Consternated/Consternates - to unsettle, throw into confusion, perh. intensive deriv. of consternere to cover, spread (with) (con- con- + sternere to strew; cf. stratum ), though sense development uncert.

He a few of my more redneck friends use it, instead of constipated because they thought it was funny. Turns out it was a real word. Just has nothing to do with being constipated.

That's just a string of amino-acids; I don't think that it really counts as a "real word".
You'd think that, but it has been used in American Chemical Society's Chemical Abstracts, so I believe it now counts.

There is one larger at 3561 characters, but it's never been used.
Still think it would qualify as a string of amino-acids and not a word. At least I hope so. Dictionary would gain 4 pounds if they print that shit in it.

Gum. It doesn't even look like a word, it's like a dictionary threw up a smattering of letters and made that.

Gum, Gum, Gum, Gum, Gum, Gum, Gum, Gum, Gum, Gum, Gum, Gum, Gum, Gum, Gum.
Just doesn't sound right..
