One that doesnt act like a damn girl. Get loud, get rough, stay your man, woman! I want an equal adversary, not someone to babysit.^^ got my reasons to move only between punks, goths and metalheads, the women got power here, ready for action, not to stand besides it.

The kind of woman who doesn't draw your attention by looks, but rather the "something about this person, I want to knw more about her" -type thing.

Combined with the beauty of Audrey Hepburn and the sheer unbridled savage sexiness of Katy Perry.

I've always been attracted to the idea of a woman who's just a person- I want a girlfriend who's almost like every other one of my friends. Now yes, as I am looking for a partner and not a buddy, and I am attracted to femininity. What that means to me though is not pink frills and miniskirts (although the latter is nice at times), but something almost intangible and difficult to describe. A degree of refinement and grace is nice I suppose, but then I hardly consider being overtly crass to be anything positive ever. In short, a hot friend, I guess, who wants to get down.

A mixture of Ellen Ripley (the fictional character played by Sigourney Weaver), Olivia Wilde and Vin Diesel.

"Wait what?"

Yes, you heard me.

Ellen, because she is a strong and intelligent woman who has no intention of being on the same level as those women with bleached hair, tight jeans, a big-ass belt, overkill eyeshadow and a white jacket with fur on top.

Olivia Wilde, because of a few physical trademarks I like, mainly her hair, voice and lips. Might as well picked an other woman with attractive traits, bu this one is just off the top of my head. (i.e. the perfect female, in my opinion, would also be attractive - don't know if that makes me shallow)

Vin Diesel, because he's the kind of guy who does typical 'nerd/geek'-stuff like playing video games, being involved with Dungeons and Dragons, etc. - but I bet no one would have the stones to call him out for it. I'd be nice to see that in a woman as well.
(on a side not, the man may not have had a lot of successes recently, but dammit, he still put down some nice performances in Saving Private Ryan and Pitch black - and as the voice of the Iron Giant, of course)

The perfect female? Someone who is the light during your darkest hour and loves you, "warts and all".

Being a straight female, my perfect mate is deffo different from what I would regard as a perfect female :p. I mean, who would want their best friend to act like a lover?
I have "unusual interests" that would make a "perfect" partner/mate differ from a "perfect" friend.

Good role models imo encourage people to do things for the right reasons and encourage people to make their own decisions. Who is the right role model for you is also a different answer for different people - we have differing aspirations, and I don't think one person would embody them all.

As one of my favorite writers said in one of his novels: ...it is easy to love "because" but more fulfilling to love "despite".

There can be no such thing as a perfect woman because:

1. Perfect humans do not exist
2. Everyone has their own personal taste.

How dare you pick on me?! (Damned writing with its removal of intended tone)

Mainly what I was addressing the pratfalls of trying to attain or hold anything or one up as perfect.

And your "afterward" regarding the women of Firefly expressed pretty much what I was going to say before I had a chance to. Also, I like that Whedon conceived them as having post-90's-female strengths. They didn't have to literally remind you all the time (like Ally McBeal) that they were strong.

So what are you saying - is there a split consensus amongst most feminist leadership regarding the existence of a Perfect Woman or Perfect Female Role Model?

Edit: Also, the perfect woman is Katee Sackoff.

To be perfect is to be devoid from flaw, to be devoid from flaw is to devoid of selflessness, to be devoid from selflessness if to devoid of love, thus the 'perfect woman' is imperfect.

(Acting under the logic that a perfect entity would be a product of evolution thus dedicated to its own survival)

Serious Answer: No such thing. Perfect things are boring.
What you're saying doesnt make sense. A perfect woman isnt 'perfect' if she's boring.
