Wilson getting lost at sea always got me.
YES! It was the most emotional part of the movie for me. :'(
For me it's Babar and Marley & Me, Marley dying gets me EVERY time.

Saddest, I dunno. "Life is Beautiful" was pretty sad because it was a heartwarming yet dark film about a father and his son during the Holocaust and right when you think it's going to be all okay... I won't give away the ending but it's a bit of a kick in the stomach.

Most depressing movie though - Requiem for a Dream. If you're ever feeling just that little bit too happy and you want to bring yourself back down to earth with a crash then watch this film.

Edit: Oh! Just thought of another - a little Australian claymation film called "Mary & Max". This is an excellent film and although the ending is sad it's the nice kind of sad. I have to admit, I did shed a tear or two for the little blobs of plasticine.

A movie's never made me cry, but I guess I'd say the saddest film I've watched is A Scanner Darkly. It's a pretty damn depressing movie if you put a little thought to it.
The only times a form of media has ever made me cry were when i got Tsugumi's "good" and bad ends in Ever17.

Schindlers list. So, so depressing. And I cried at the end. I think that's the only time EVER.
Same here. I held out as long as I could, but the moment Laim Neeson dropped the ring at the end broke me down. It was SUCH a powerful scene.

But as sad as the movie was, it was also an incredibly memorable experience. I went to see it in the theater with friends, and afterwards, we went to a private after-movie get-together with some Holocaust survivors and heard stories and did a Q & A with them. Afterwards, several of the women there gave us all hugs. It was an amazing experience.

Gran Torino, the only film to ever actually make me cry. I was actually in the cinema, but to this day it's my favourite movie.

I LOVE that movie, I think it's originally called "La vita e Bella", I even got it on DVD.
