Worst game I've played? It's hard to say. I'm torn between Animal Crossing: City Folk and Metal Gear Solid 4.

Mirrors edge. Its the second worst next gen game to Sonic the Hedge hog.
Ha ha! No, that's just you being bad at gaming.
No. It is my own opinion. It was a turd. I beat it in 4 hours and hated every minute of it. Its easy and crappy, somthing sonic team can only do half of.

Ah, this one's easy. Stuntman, for the PS2. It was a trial and error game, probably one of the most difficult to get right (a good analogue is driving school in GTA: San Andreas). The difference is that you have to sit through excessive load times after every single attempt. Never picked it up again.

Sonic Unleashed on the wii....fighting and climbing with those bloody controls are useless. The parts with Sonic are a little fucked up too.

Robot Warlords for PS2. Thank god it was a gift and I didn't spend my money on it. Think I got $2 at EB for it, and I didn't complain.

Anything made my Pheonix games.
Me and my friend laughed at all of them for hours, really google them and look at their games and descriptions.

Fable 2 posible. Blacksmithing? Chopping wood? Bartending ARRGHHH!!!

Hmmm.. GTA 4 also. That was a real stinker for me. Doing basically the same mission with the same stodgy uninteresting character for 30 hours on a game where I was being stalked by a bunch of CGI characters phoning me up when I was trying to kill stuff made me go mad mad mad of the kind where you end up doing endless run on sentences.

Seriously? You're going to sit there with a straight face and tell us Halo 3 is the worst game you've played? Not the most overrated or the most disappointing but the absolute worst game that you have ever played? (Ok, "recently" for ColdStorage.)

Either you have been amazingly lucky in your gaming life or you need to get down off that fucking bandwagon.

Obviously a lot of people like Halo, but for those who don't like it, it's an average game: not apocalyptically bad, just overrated. Sure it has deficiencies - all games do. But no amount of muddy storytelling, repetitive Flood levels and "bloom turned up too bright" could put it within ten miles of games like Big Rig Racing, ET, Shaq Fu, Superman 64, Bomberman: Act Zero, Ninjabread Man, Spider-Man 3 or any movie-licensed game ever created (except Goldeneye). And maybe you've never played any of those games or any of the thousand other irredeemably broken, pointless, frustrating, insulting or unplayable titles out there, but if you insist Halo 3 is the worst game you've ever encountered then I'm calling you a liar and a sheep.

And now comes the part where you write me off as a Halo fanboy or say "I'm entitled to my opinion" because I'm refusing to let you call one of the most popular and highly-rated games of all time the worst game ever.

Oh hell no. See my post above. The thread is "worst game you ever played", not "an overrated game I played recently and it's cool to slag off right now". GTAIV and Fable 2 are not the worst games you've ever played. Try again.

I judge each game on its own merits, on what was available to the developers of the day vs what they actually delivered. Otherwise we could call Pong the worst game of all time because it was just two sticks and a square "ball".

Therefore, Fable 2 and GTA 4 are the two worst games that I have ever played. No doubt that will change in the future as more crap comes out.

I haven't played a great number of genuinley crappy games because I research fairly thoroughly before I buy anything.

I think the one which was the biggest let-down of my expectations was Final Fantasy III on the DS. Riddled with painful gameplay archaisms, despite gorgeous soundtrack and music.

I guess the Sword of Vermillion on the Mega-Drive was pretty bloody awful. Actually, no. Atomic Runner. Shittiest platformer EVER.

NRA gunclub (i might have been half-decent if it was light-gun compatible)
to anyone that thinks halo 3 is the worst: dust off your ps2, rent this, place the "game" in disk drive, and witness the horror. you'll be wanting your money back from renting it
