Precisely the 83rd thread asking 'Why do so many people watch My Little Pony?'. I mean, some of the earlier ones like #43 and #67 got pretty bad, but sheesh, this one, it was like Vietnam all over again. Don't make me go there, man, I'm getting flashbacks.
...although this is pretty much true. It got ridiculous back in June/July where apparently everyone forgot the search bar existed and a thread with this topic popped up twice daily, and turned into a carbon copy of all the ones that came before it.

After 2 pages of responses talking about how pointless the thread was someone stumbled upon the source of the question, and that the OP was referring to (the at the time it was relatively new) a joke Yahtzee had made in his review of Turok.

Any thread that I've made, with the exception of 3 or 4, I would post and immediately think "This is stupid, why the hell did I even think of this?"
Or the "What's so great about [insert wildly popular thing that just about everyone can agree is above average at the very least]?" or "I think [insert wildly popular thing that just about everyone can agree is above average at the very least] isn't above average at the very least, here is my insanely one-sided, flawed, ignorant, and highly opinionated reasons why it sucks." type threads, your opinions don't matter, people only repy to tell you how much of an ass you are.

And I have to also add the threads made by jaded people who blame society or the entirety of the opposite sex for why they have issues with relationships and always choose bad boy/girlfriends.
